I HAD MY MERINA TAKEN OUT A WEEK AGO AS MY HUSBAND AND I DECIDED THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO TRY FOR A BABY. I AM 39 YEARS OLD SO I GEUSS TIME IS A LITTLE AGAINST US. I HAD THE HOTS FLUSHES WITH THE MARINA BUT DIDNT REALSE UNTILL NOW THAT THATS WHAT WAS CAUSING THEM, I ALSO SUFFERD TERRIBLE BACK ACHES WICH I STILL HAVE NOW BUT NOT AS BAD. BUT I AM CONCERND THAT IT CAN TAKE SOME TIME TO FALL PREGNANT AFTER HAVING IT TAKEN OUT AS MY DOCTOR SAID THAT ALL SHOULD BE BACK TO NORMAL AFTER 4 TO 6 WEEKS. I HAD SOME SPOTTING WHEN I HAD MINE REMOVED AND SOME FOR A FEW DAYS AFTER BUT THAT HAS STOPPED NOW SO IM JUST WAITING FOR THE FULL BLOWN MONTHLYS TO KICK IN. I NEVER KNEW IT COULD CAUSE SO MANY PROBLEMS AND WHY WE ARE NOT TOLD ABOUT THEM BEFOR HAVING THEM FITTED.

hey i experiencened the same thing while i had my mirena i had no sex drive weight loss bad anxiety attacks and pain in my abdomen i eventually had it removed due to so many problems but the drs will never tell u that anything in ur body was caused by this iud but they really cant because who knows in a couple years there may be widespread lawsuits caused from this I just also found out that i have a large cyst on my ovary i know that it was caused by this iud thats what it says i can cause them to come and go... i had a bad experience with mine for 11 months and when i had it put in they said absoulutly no side effects thats completely untrue I really hope that u have good luck in having a baby thats gods little way of giving miracles i have 2 lil girls 2&5 but i had mine removed on the 3rd of October bled for 1 day and havent had an actual period yet .. other people i have talked to said it was painful period for like 2 weeks but everyone is different.....GOOOOD LUCK

I am also quite alone, I dont know where to go, I want it taken out but like I said I am in a different country and can't afford to be running around trying to get this sorted. it makes me so sad that we have to go through this.
