Hi I am 21 weeks 4 days pregnant with twins. I had a scan on Monday which showed that one of my twins had hydronephrosis (dilation of the kidney due to blockage of the urethea) in it's right kidney. The current dilation was 6mm. I spoke to my consultant who said they would check the dilation in my regular 4 weekly scans and he just said it was easy to fix once they were born. What he didn't say was how it was fixed or what the prognosis was in the long term. Is there anyone who knows more about this or has experienced this who can give me some more information on it.
