Hi Joanne It is a worry, and only natural to do so hun. I am not as far on as you, but my midwife detected protein in my urine about 2 weeks ago. She said that it is no reason to be alarmed straight away, the best thing to do is dring 2 - 3 litres of water, and drink cranberry juice in the morning and before you go to bed. Normally if there is a problem the results come through within 7 days as they need to test again and look further into it. The other symptoms for pre-eclempsia are swollen hands/ankles and face, but I would think that it is still quite early in your pregnancy to be that. Good luck.

Don't be depressed hun, I am sure that there is a simple explanation and that the doctor will put your mind at rest. As you get further along, you should start to blossom and feel good about yourself. good luck hun - let us know how you get on x
