Hi everyone, Had midwife apt yesterday, all's well growing nicely apparently Took midwife a few minutes to find the heart beat which was a little scary! Have a quick question for you all. TMI alert! I forgot to ask the midwife this, duh preggo brain! For the last week on about 3 occassions i've had wet knickers. I know I'm probably weeing myself (ah!) but i was just a bit concerned. Today it felt like when my period used to start and it had wet through to my trousers. Bit embarrassing as very thin trousers that easily show up wetness! Has anyone else had this? Suppose there's nothing i can do about it but pelvic floor exercises i suppose (am rubbish at remembering to do them!). Nice bump pics Jenny! How's things with your DP? Have you mentioned anything about msg you saw? Rusty x

Hi all, Dont ask why i am sat up at 4 in the morning!!! Rusty it could be your leaking a bit when you laugh, cough or sneeze but it also could be sweat, i know it sounds horrid but our bodies are working overtime and our bits get very hot and this can cause the feeling that you have leaked, and as much as you say too. Have a word with midwife if it is still bothering you next visit, wear a tenna lady as they are very thin and designed for that kind of thing, while you are pg the baby will put gradually put more pressure on you and it is unavoidable to leak a bit with pressure like laughter ar coughing. pinky xx Jen hope things are ok with you xx Had a huge clear up yesterday, bedroom now sorted and space for baby to fit now!! Got ds to put things in attic for me, what i couldnt do, struggled to get under the bed to get to stuff and only found one connection to ex girlfriend so all good!! Midwife told me about a baby that was sexed as a girl on the scan but when 'she' was born it was a boy so holding out on too much pink until i have had next scan and i am asking again, still pretty sure she is a she as i saw things fairly clearly but then boys can hide bits so perhaps!! Off now to look at units, want something to put babys things in and a change mat on top. Take care all, Pinky xx

Hey sweatynicks! It could also be the pregnancy discharge (nice!) TMI from me coming up... I have had a lot of this over the last couple of weeks (apparently it increases as preg progresses) and it's fairly gross but fairly harmless I think. It is kind of thrush-like at times but I don't have the itching that goes with thrush, so not sure if I am infected! I was a tad concerned last night that I hadn't felt baby move for a while, at least not as much as I'm used to. Think it's been having its back to my front quite a bit lately, so kicks have been subdued, but couldn't feel much last night. BUT when I went to bed it was the most active I have known - lots of light kicks really low down, so phew! Jenni, you ok - really think DP needs some talking to, or something stronger... Katy - welcome back - missed you! Pinky - 4am?!! Impressed your baby room is sorted - still feeling highly disorganised here! We're away again this weekend but then the following weekend I am at least going to get DH to take me shopping Janie, Helen, Hi! Still can't get onto MSN - I have an email saying I've been accepted, but when I try and click through, it says I have to be a member to view those pages... I'll try again at home! F x

Frenchie, Had exactly the same with baby all day, hardly any movement all day, starting to get worried but she is making up for it now but all inside into my bladder and down and around my insides, not very nice but at least its movement, yesterday she was pointing out and it was fine, i find it so uncomfortable when my insides are being kicked, i dont remember it being like this with the others but it must have been. Defo nesting, picking up 2 kitchen chairs tomorrow, got house tidy, dp says it wont last so have to prove it will now!! Going to look for unit for bedroom and put drawer liners in, saw some nice ones in crabtree and evelyn they smell of baby powder, put babys stuff in there, i did it with my last baby and its lovely their stuff smells so nice, more when you are nearing your dates and looking at babygrows and sniffing them thinking how your little bundle will fill them up soon! Still putting it down to xmas and that i need to be prepared, only need to be a few weeks early girls and its slap bang into xmas or new year, chances are i will be late but you never know! Take care all, sorry for lack of personals was just saying hi but have rattled on again, Happy weekends to all, dp working sunday, all day, 4am til 6pm, hate the sundays but gets bills paid up ready for baby when dp says he wont be able to keep away from home and baby so needs to work all he can b4 she gets here!! Take care all Pinky xx ps jenni hope you are ok, been quiet, hope your getting dp sorted out xx

Frenchie/Pinky- I haven't really felt baby much last week but think it's just because i'm so busy that i switch off from it. I took a bit of time last night to concentrate on my belly and it was doing backflips in there! Frenchie- least it's not only me with wet knicks Janie- yes i'm a vet nurse which is why i had concerns about working alone over christmas. If i had a big dog in there's no way i'd be able to handle it on my own. Wish i could work in an all cat practice, that would make things easier! Well I took my concerns about working christmas to head office and we've come to an agreement. My maternity leave starts on 1st jan but my last day of work will be 21st dec and will not have to do any out of hours after november. Had to take my last holiday days for over christmas which i'm sure everyone at work will be pissed about cos not supposed to take hols over christmas. But i don't care!! Yay only 10 weeks til i go on maternity leave!!! Hope everyone's having a good weekend Rusty x

Evening ladies, just a quick post i promise Baby has been moving about so much in last 2 days i think it must be practising for gymnastics or something, definitely doing some weird movements in there. Rusty - good to hear compromise about job, good sense comes through in the end. Anyway main reason for post is to say i finally managed to get some photo's on MSN. Let me know what you all think. Have a nice evening all and i'll be back tomorrow for proper update. Bye Jane xx

Hi guys! Grest pics Janie, your bump looks lovely, as Pinky said no hint of a stretch mark. Mine seems to have spread sideways (or maybe that's cake?) and not like Jenni's which looks so neat. My nephew aka 'the devil child' smacked into my bump really hard yesterday. I went to see my sister and was half lying on the couch when he did some wrestling thing and his head landed on my baby! I was not happy as i've heard horror stories about trauma to the bump and the placenta coming away, although I'm sure a 7 year old's head can't do much damage. Just annoyed me cos I'm so careful at work with the dogs and then my nephew does that. Baby seems fine although still a bit sore on my belly Bloody kids! Rusty x

Hiya Rusty, Just wanted to say it is bloody annoying when you get bumped, people in supermarket and stuff, my mil's dog i avoid like the plague cos its so big and clumsy.(keeping baby well away its jealous too which worries me, it growls if i go near dp and hates my youngest cos she is scared of him) Had sore spot on belly the other day but i put it down to trying to clear stuff from under the bed! Have let one person rub my bump and had many uninvited rubs, i wouldn't go up to someone and grab their boobs and say nice pair so why rub my bump and expect it to be received any differently!!!! OK Groan over with, my dd got tummy bug today, she bought the class teddy bear home and i think he must carry lots of horrid germs, my poor little girl! Will spray him with some germ killing thing b4 returning him to school and suggesting a quarantine period for him!! Off now, decided to do shopping today, been putting stuff on ebay to make space, slowly working but can't say i am making any money just clearing space!! Take care all, Rusty rest your bump, and keep away from nephews, not got any myself, just friends kids i avoid and that bloody dog!! Pinky xx
