Hello Rusty, Glad your stomach cramps have subsided. Can totally understand about the tiredness, I was in bed by 10 last night, on a saturday !!! and feel like ive been up all night. Yesterday and today the sickness has kicked in. Felt dog rough when I got up this morning, sick, dizzy, faint but its passed abit. I'm having real trouble eating though are you? gone off oven chips, ice cream, beans, bread, cheese. One minute I fancy something the next can't face eating it. I'm feeling so excited though can't wait for first scan. Have a brilliant hoilday, you lucky minx. Hi Brummy, Congratulations on your BFP. WOW baby no5 how wonderful, especially after trying for so long. Hope your stick around, its always good to have someone to chat to. Hiya Frenchie, hows you? Ive been stalking u on the due Nov/Dec thread. Looks like you are all set to have a great, easy 8/9months. How you feeling, any symptoms yet. Well its pouring hard here today just layed out sofa watching baby programs. Going to nip out to tescos when DF gets in from work, going to get some ginger biscuits see if that helps with the sickness. Take care girls love and hugs Pobs XXXX

Just got back from telling my bf's parents that i'm pregnant and it didn't go too well His mum really didn't seem impressed and i'm feeling pretty depressed right now. I'm hoping once it's sunk in they'll be more excited. Will be their first grandchild so was expecting a better response, oh well. Pobbins- Only thing i can't stand right now is cheese and coffee. Oh and have the sorest (.)(.)'s i've ever had! When's your first scan? I have a doctor's apt next monday but not really sure what will happen as totally new to all this! Feel very emotional right now and my bf's working so noone to talk to. Just figured that everyone would be happy for us considering we're not exactly young or taking this decision lightly. Sorry for going on about it just feeling sorry for myself.

Oh Rusty, so sorry that BF's parents didn't give the reaction you were hoping for - people can be so funny sometimes, especially in-laws! As you say, I'm sure they'll change their tune once it's sunk in and know that you and BF are excited about it all. Good news that your cramps have subsided though. Pobs, (aka canny stalker ) sorry to hear you're feeling so sick - did you get the same with your other babies? You're right re my symptoms - basically not much! Sore boobs and tiredness (although that's nothing unusual!) is about it, and the occasional ache and pain around my tummy which always sends me into a panic! I know I should be v grateful, but it makes me worry that when I get to my scan, there will be nothing in there I'm sure there's plenty of time for feeling rough up ahead though! Oh, and we're decorating at the mo - spent today steaming woodchip stuff off our ceiling... and am worried that it all got too hot with the steamer - was fairly warm for a while! Do you think I am totally neurotic? And last but not least, a BIG welcome to Brummy - great news that you can add to your family. Hope you have a trouble free 8/9 months. Love to you all, Frenchie xx

HI ALL,
Thank you all for the warm welcome. Just feel a bit for Rusty and the response you had from your BF family. Maybe its just the initial shock. But dont let it put a dampener on you and BF feelings you must enjoy every day now.

Hi Guys, I hope you don't mind me crashing the thread. AF is due to arrive in 6 days - were you ladies getting any symptoms around now or was the BFP a complete shock? I'm tired, but I think that is more to do with moving house than anything else.

Hi All, BIG hello and congrads pobs hunny, feel like we are in this together as we had our mirenas out same time, and guess what??? BFP for me too!!! That puts me about a week behind you, i was due af yesterday and got my bfp. I tested tues got a real faint line, then wed it was a bit darker then left it til sunday and it is really +++!! I have tender (.)(.)'s but not too bad, they are bigger too!! I have af pains on and off, no spotting or anything at moment, feel bit yucky at nite but as i remember with others morning sickness kicked in at about 5 weeks so that to look forward to! Sorry to everyone else, just catching up with my old 2ww buddie! This is my 4th baby, been trying since feb with my partner, it is his 2nd and our first together (if you understand all that!) I have had really sickly pregnancies in the past and spent first 6 months with head down the loo, i really dont mind too much, it reassures me i have plenty of pregnancy hormones!! Oh and i am an emotional wreck too, pobs i just cried at your ticker comment, the heart beats real early! I think i am due about 20th Jan, i am not trying to count or work it out too much, i have told my best friend, and dp of course who is very exited. Everyone else i am waiting until 12 weeks, my parents i cant imagine jumping for joy but i am used to that now! Dp's mum will be beside herself and blurt it out to anyone she see's so thus the reason for the silence! Happy healthy 9 months to you all, yaaaayyyy, i am on a due thread, still sooooo exited!! Pink xx

YAY....... I am sooo over the moon for you Pinky, I was wondering how you was doing over the weekend, ive missed ya. SOOOO happy to see you on this thread. Thats so bizarre we both got our BFP, mirenas were taken out roughly the same time wasn't they? Heres to a very happy healthy 8/9 months. DF has told everyone through his excitment at least your DP is abit more restrained. Hi Brummy how you feeling, Have you seen Dr yet? So sorry that your in laws have put a downer on things for you Rusty, I'm sure once they get used to the idea they will be fine. We told DF parents we were trying because I knew his mum would be excatly the same, she had a while to get used to it and now is soooo excited its slightly scary !!! You don't need them to be excited....we are for you, your pregnant YAY!!! You and your DF are the most important and if you are happy, thats all that counts XXX(perhaps its because they hoped you would marry first, old fashion view but thats the one thing my DF mother has gone on about) Hiya Frenchie, Don't think you're neurotic girl I was feeling the same, still am really. Ive been feeling really sick over the weekend but still keep thinking maybe its in my head, even though no AF. Its natural my friend is the same no symptoms and she is 11weeks. She is convinced there won't be anything in there next week. You are jinixing yourself, bet come next week those symtoms will well and truly kick in ha ah. Thanks for the congrats Vicky XX Jan20, have a look on the 2ww symptom page its very good. To be honest apart from being tired which I didn't think was a sign I didn't have anything, apart form lots and lots of CM. Usually AF cramps start about a week before she arrived but this month didn't get them until after BFP. Fingers crossed for you hun XXX Like I said ive been feeling quite sick this weekend and have had waves of it today. Finding eating really difficult, anyone else. Having to eat just plain things like Jacket spud, don't fancy anything else. Just tried to eat some cheese and it made me wretch. Tried to get an appointment with Dr today but they are to busy to see me, will have to try again tomorrow. Hope you girls are having a good day. Big hugs XXXX Pobs

Hi All,
20January,
The only symptom I had was feeling really tired for about a week before AF due. Good luck
I have been having the waves of sickness and still occasional cramps and very very slight spotting today which really freeked me out. I went to see dr today and he wants to see me in 2 wks time and he also got the midwife to phone me she is coming out to do a house visit but not until 11th June, she said she dont register anyone until they are approx 8 wks. So now its just the waiting game.
Oh, also gone off food, even chocolate, which is amazing for me! I even went into the shop today and when i looked at the choc bars had a wave of nausea!!!!!
Anyway hope everyone else is feeling fine.

Hi guys, Congrats thinkpink and welcome! Brummy, Pobbins and Frenchie, thanks for the advice, we are going to Turkey tomorrow so hopefully when we come back the news will have sunk in a bit. BF is so excited he's told just about everyone! 20jan, I felt weird as soon as i conceived, can't explain it just felt different. Week before AF due had nausea and strange pulling pains. Had AF pains from day it was due for about 5 days after but didn't it appear. Good luck with getting your BFP! I'm off for a week now so take care everyone and hope there's lots more of us when i get back x
