Hey Pob I don't know you but congratulations on your bfp. Your thread made me realise that it was this time last year I got my long awaited BFP for my gorgeous munchkin born in January 07 so have a very happy healthy time and remember to enjoy being sober over new year!!!!
Hey Pobs, great to see you have started this thread!
Have you been to see your GP yet? Got any dates for scans etc? I went to the doctor last week but have yet to hear from the hospital.
Just for introduction, I got my BFP on 21st April… think I am due end of December (I have long cycles) so waiting for a scan to determine my dates properly. I post on the Nov/Dec thread, and the girls there are great, but am quite a bit behind all the girls on there, so great to have a newbie to chat to!
Great to have someone to obsess with – and boy do I need it today! Last night I had aches in my pelvic/vagina area and felt really really bloated. Still feel the same today. Was really worried and didn’t sleep well last night – hope that it’s nothing but I can’t help but worry!
This is all adding to the fact that I don’t seem to have any ‘normal’ pregnancy symptoms – no sickness, not particularly tired (not more than normal anyway!) and slightly tender boobs at times but nothing much. Even did another HPT at the weekend because I was worried that the three (!) I’d done before were wrong!
Agh! I’m becoming neurotic!
Hope you’re much calmer than me… and stay that way!

Yesterday my boobs were quite uncomfortable but today nothing!! This morning I had the most cripping Af type pain, it actually had me running to loo and I was so sure something bad had happened!!! but it passed and no spotting etc so thats good. Was terrified, it made me cry.... I have taken 6tests in total, madnesss. Have you told anyone? my DF is so excited that he has told all our friends and his family. Ive told a couple of close friends but thats it. I was going to ring the Dr on Monday. I understand by reading other threads they don't really want to see us untill about 8 weeks Hope you are feeling better today hun and not to tird after the lack of sleep, ive been sleeping badly too, it will be really good to have eachother for support won't it Love and Hugs Pobs

Pobbins-I was wondering if I could join you? I've just found out I'm pregnant with my first baby due 14th January. I'm new to this so don't know what to expect at all, plus pregnancy was a surprise!
I've been getting mild cramps for 5 days now, do you know if that's normal? What symptoms are you getting?
Hey Rusty, welcome to the preg journey! Congrats on your BFP and here's to a happy and healthy 8/9 months.
Pobs, glad you're feeling bloated and neurotic too! (i obviously mean that in the nicest possible way )
I have only told my mum and dad so far, and my best friend. We're going to tell DH's mum and dad, but won't see them for a few weeks, and want to tell them face to face. Trying to wait until the first scan until telling most people, but it gets harder every day. I actually really enjoyed telling my GP - she was really excited for me (I'd seen her last year about TTC)
Got to go, sleepy now...

Left boob has been hurting all day, only one, werid! Hows the bloating Frenchie? ive started to feel a little sick first thing in morning and last thing at night. I had a complete hair revamp last night ready for when the greasy, lank hair kicks in. I had fairy long straight blonde hair which is now a very short victoria B type bob, chestnut, red, blonde colour. I love it and DF said i'm a real yummy mummy ha ha. Has really cheered me up! Hello to you Rusty and congrats on you pregnancy. You're very welcome to join in. The cramps are quite normal, I had them all last week and still am getting them on and off. I asked Jules the midwife on here and she says thats fine, Af would have been here and everything is stretching etc. We are at the same stage then? i'm due the 13th. It will be good to follow your progress. Thanks for dropping in Michelle XX Friends coming for dinner tonight so best do some house work, should be good my friend is 11weeks pg so I feel a night of baby talk is on the menu. Love to you both Pobs XXXX

Been following the threads for a while now, started on the 2WW thread, but last week I got my BFP after taking a digital test (which had the fatal words NOT PREGNANT) I was still not convinced so decided to take a couple more tests the following day to finally get my BFP. I have had nausea constantly and terrible cramps just as if AF is about to start (particularly at night) but this is pregnancy #5 and I do remember the feeling AF is going to arrive with the others. I concieved with my DD straight away and knew we wanted a big family but after 4 years of TTC nothing, even had IVF which failed, resigned ourselves to the fact that we had the one, then suddenly everything kicked into action and along came another 3. As my biological clock was now full and truly ticking we decided to try for #5 but 8 months on nothing, but I started using www.mymonthlycycles.com which pinpoints your most fertile day and this month I finally got my BFP. Happy and Healthy pregnancies to all.
Thanks for the advice Pobbins, has reassured me and pains have gone now. Not got too much nausea at the moment just tiredness can hardly keep my eyes open most of the time. Am off to Turkey on Tuesday so I'm hoping will feel a bit more lively by then!
What symptoms are you guys getting at the moment? I had a bit of nausea a week ago and was hoping that was it but according to my mum the worst is yet to come
