hey maybe
sounds promising to me...i used cheap tests from wilkos and they were really faint, and i know that tescos don't claim to show up positive until 14dpo.
when i got my bfp i did the following tests..
9dpo - clearblue early - BFN
12dpo - clearblue early - very very faint bfp
13dpo - wilkos cheap test - very faint bfp
14 dpo - clearblue early - normal bfp, tescos own brand - normal bfp(ie not strong or faint!), wilkos test (got obsessed with sticking things in my magic pot of wee at this point!!) - very faint bfp
15dpo - predictor test - faint bfp (this made me panic but have since heard loads of people found these crap)
18dpo and beyond (yup, still POAS occasionally!) - sainsburys and boots own brands very strong bfps
I have to say that in my experience, you don't get a reliable result til at least 14dpo...and the sticks are designed to be at their faintest at the level of HCG they are sensitive for - so if you have a faint line its picking up 25iu of hcg if its a test sensitive to 25 iu. So you would expect it to look faint unless you are further along than you realise.
if you can cope - test with a clearblue or tescos test (so you can compare the colour of the lines ) and use FMU, and i swear by peeing in a pot and dipping - at least then you can check the same sample with more than one test if you get an unclear result. Good luck!
