Hi

I am currently 5 days over due for my af with still no sign of it coming. I have tested twice now and both say BFN. I have cramps, bloating, feeling sick and tearful which I assume could be pg symptoms or withdrawel feelings from the pill (came off it mid feb) but I was just wondering if anyone had tested negitive before and than found out they were pg later.

hi Sheree, it could be that the hormone level is not higher enough yet to detect and therefore you could go to your Dr and ask for a blood test, or it could be your body is still adjusting to life after bcp.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you; 5 days late and no AF or BFP. Just had dr's apt as have felt awful all week. He did a blood test and results will be back on Monday. He was very supportive, which was unexpected. Maybe you should see your dr too? Let us know how you get on.

Thanks for that. I am hoping to book into the see the doctor tomorrow but i'm trying not to get my hopes up and keep a level head about it.

Just thought I'd let you know that AF got me and obviously the test results were negeative. Feeling OK and positive about the fact I have started temping this month with fertility friend and am on second cycle with persona monitor. But still only on boring old CD3!

gosh .... same situation and aint it horrible!!! i was due on the 18th April and no period...regular as anything....had cramps and nausea....but hubby reckons its psychologiacal cos 4 tests say NO!!!

going to take ur advice and go Docs on wed and ask for bld test. jus wana know either way.

its so annoying!!!

Well got the results of the blood test today which showed BFN - i'm gutted but deep down i suspected it could be all due to the bcp. Guess now its a waiting game for af to come - just wish it would hurry up now.

Will certainly have a look at the ttc thread. Going on holiday shortly so now doubt af with come then.
