hi there

Itching can be normal in pregnancy due to the skin stretching but I would suggest ringing the midwife/docs aswell as itching can be something to do with liver probs I think.

Hope it eases off, like I said its prob just skin stretching and maybe moisturising will help but definately get in touch with midwife just to be on the safe side!

hi there, i'm 35 weeks pregnant and just got itchy bump about a week ago, the itchiness is totally horrendous, especially at night, is this what yours is????

I have researched it on the internet and think i have PUPPS, so have a look to see if you recognise any of the symptoms, it can also be a sign of a liver problem if you have itchiness anywhere else, definately go to your doctors!!!!!

I have used Aqueous Calamine Lotion which seems to stop the itching and the doctor gave me some Hydrocortisone Cream to, i don't know if it is working though.

Do you have a rash to? i do, i totally sympathise!!!!

No rash, The itching is on an off, belly worst but yes I do get it on face, head, and legs aswell. I think I will see if its gets worse before I see anyone as I am seeling the midwife next friday anyway.

I hope that I am ok had a liver problem after I had my daughter she is now 2 years, 5 months. I was so poorly I lost so much weight. I will keep a note of the itching and see what she says. Or might see her or the doc on Monday if its wosre.

Thanks girls for your help.

Hi I looked it up and as I had liver problems after I had my daughter I paniced. I have since found that I am not itchy all the time, so I am going to see the midwife and see what she says, think it will be ok.

Thanks ladies. xx

Itching has settled a bit, usually get it in the evening and night time now. I saw the midwife today but was suffering with other problems that I forgot to mention it!!! I had blood in my urine and a few other problems. She took some blood aswell, so maybe if there is something it will be picked up then.

My itching is worse and has spread to legs and back. I have been to the doctors this morning and I have now got cream and they have taken blood to check my liver function too for that problem that can be got in pregnancy. I am a bit worried. She said had to be tested asap so had to go back to be tested today! So should know soon.

Wish Me Luck

I am 28 weeks and 5 days now
