Hi Ladies,

I have been diagnosed with a large fibroid filling most of the cavity of my womb and have been booked to have a myomectomy at the end of January to remove it.

The consultant surgeon was quite blunt about my chances of conceiving after this operation and the long list of complication during and after the operation.

If anyone has had this operation, or knows anyone who has I would be grateful for any advise to give me a little hope. At the moment Im scared stiff that my dream of becoming a mommy is ending.

Jenny - sorry to see that the Dr has not given you a better outcome. Maybe he is just giving you worst case scenario and all will be fine afterwards? How long will you be in hospital for? Sorry I can't give you any answers but thinking of you hun
