Does anyone have any wives tales on getting pregnant? Or detemaning the sex? E.t.c. (No big bad superstious ones if poss. please).

I heard if you stand on your head after sex, it helps the sperm swim faster (although I doubt that's true, as you can conceive standing up).[:I]

I also heared that if you conceive in Winter you're more likely to have a girl and Summer a boy? [?] Not that I mind either way as long as I get one[]

i belive if u put a pillow under ur hips when having sex then bending ur knees and bringing them up for 20min is higher chance of concieving x

In my pregnancy book it says for women who know when there ovulating
that if you have sex on the day of ovulation, you will have a boy because, male sperm are fast swimmers but live for just 24hrs.
and if you have sex 2 days before ovulation you will have a girl....because the female sperms are slower swimmers but they live for a few days.

If you sleep with a pink ribbon under your pillow and sleep on the right, you'll get a girl. If you sleep with a red ribbon under your pillow and sleep on the left... you'll get a boy.

Whatever you do, don't handle a Pekingese dog while you're pregnant, or the baby will look like it when it's born.
