good luch heidi, i will never have the coil again for years i suffered with palpatations the doctors tested me for everything but reading through all the posts about merina it another symptom that comes with it.

Oh well its out now and never to return, good luck with the move too!

I am brand new to the forum. I was just doing some research on how long it took people to get prego after having the Mirena. Thanks to all of you for your posts they have been very helpful. I have had the Mirena for almost 4 years and cannot remember the last time I had a period or even spotting for that matter. My DH and I just decided that we were going to ttc for our first child. I am getting the Mirena out on Monday ... so hopefully all goes well. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.

Well... I will keep you all posted. We are hoping to conceive asap.

Hi Millerford i also had my coil 4 over 4 years neva had a period the whole time either nor did i when had it out i had it out on jan 2 08 an found out was expecting im march so can happen quick but it also can take time as u have proberly read from others i think the best thing 2 do is not think about it 2 much aspecially when doing the dead as its not fun and also put presure on yourselves witch is not good 4 either of u .

I just wanted to give all of you 'TTC Post Mirena ladies' some hope. Having had my Mirena coil removed in March this year to TTC (was in for 9.5 years, changed after 5yrs and never had a period the whole time it was in!!)I got my BFP yesterday. It took 7 weeks for my period to return upon removal of the coil and like many on here I thought it would never come.But since then I have had 2 other cycles approx 21/22 days long and have managed to conceive on my 3rd cycle approx 3 months after my coil was removed.
And Im nearly 40 and I unfortunately picked up Clamydia 4yrs ago which was diagnosed by accident on a routine smear.I thought this may cause infertility but thankfully it hasnt. So theres hope to all of you out there TTC post Mirena! Wishing you all the best!

Hi Girls

I am also new to the forum! have an app to get mirena removed next month (on our weddng anniversary) but after hearing that for some of you it is taking sooooooooo long to conceive maybe I should book an earlier app????? what do you all think.

I have 20 month old twins and would roughly like a just under 3 year age gap, if I have a singleton this time round we will have a fourth to complete the family.

All I can think about is baby baby baby!!!
