Chebs-
I couldn't read your post and not reply.
I am so sorry to hear about your little girl.
I have been following all you girls on the ttc 12m+ site and have been so glad about the rush of bfp's on here.

What a comfort to you your little boy must be at the moment and i hope you get him home to you as soon as possible so you can start your life together with him properly.

I doubt a day will go past you won't forget your little girl but just give that little boy all the love in the world and i'm sure she will be watching.
Lots of love to you and your family.
Amy. x

Oh Chebs I'm so so sorry, how devastating for you. I cannot imagine how hard it is to enjoy your little boy while you grieve at the same time for Holly.
Have you looked at Tamba? They have a fab bereavement support service for parents who have lost one or both twins. I have a good friend who lost both her ID twins to twin to twin transfusion syndrome at 21 weeks back in October, and she has found the bereavement support from Tamba invaluable.
I hope Jamie can come home very soon. I know too well how tiring the SCBU journey can be.
Sending much love to you and your family and thinking of little angel Holly.
Georgie xxxxx

Oh... and I will post on Bumples tomorrow for you x

goodness this site has been really weird and not letting me in for months.

Chebs I read your post on bumples yesterday from Summer and I feel totally devastated about your experiemce and losing your precious Holly. I am so sorry, there are really no words I can say to ease the pain you and your family must have right now. I cannot even imagine the pain. On the bright side I am thriled that Jamie is doing so well and putting on weight and that he will be home soon. Thats amazing and he will always have his baby sister looking over him and with him. I absolutely love the names you have called your children I said to my DH that the names go so well together. I'm sad that you can't get onto bumples its a nice little group of people on there and I miss your posts. I am 21 weeks today and doing OK although finding myself being extra tired this time and struggling a bit. Have also had loads of sickness which is still here. I have had a little complication from my amnio with the inner amniotic membrane not fusing from an unhealed hole which can be risky for baby so need a follow up scan to check. I am just praying my son will be OK.

Well I hope this site will not continue to be a problem logging on next time it must seem as if we can't be bothered to log on but its not that.

Take care and I can't wait to hear how little Jamie gets on XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Chebs- I haven't been able to get onto this site for months!
I felt so sad to read your post. There are no words I can find that can ease your pain. What you have gone thru and how you both must be feeling god only knows.
I am really sorry for the loss of Holly your DD. After following your story for years I feel so sad for you both. I really hope with all my heart and prayers that Jamie continues to go from strength to strength each day.

Thanks for taking the time to post on here, it must of been so hard typing everything out like that.
Pls keep in touch when you feel you can.

Thanks Mantha for taking time to post on the other site. We'd of never known otherwise

Ladies, I shall post an update about myself this week. I feel shocked for Chebs and DH to do it now.

I've missed this site but now I know its back again I'll keep in touch.

Hi all
finally managed to get back in to the site.

Firstly Chebs - congratulations on the birth of your son and I'm very pleased to hear he is putting on weight and will be home soon. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your tiny daughter Holly. My thoughts are with you and DH and hope you can be strong for your corgeous wee son.
SJ, Mantha, Mummymich, Summer - if I haven't said it previously (its so long since I came on here) congratulations on your pregnancies and I wish you all the best with everything.

Nothing new from me. My OH will not consider adoption or donor egg so I am unable to try anything. I have been very angry with him as I felt he was stopping me from trying and if I had been with a different partner then I might be in a very different situation today, but I am not with a different partner and I have to respect his decisions as much as he respects mine. Not sure what the future holds for now as I never had considered a life without children, grandchildren etc but I am keeping busy with the house and our 2 dogs and work which seems to take up far too much of my time!

Hi to everyone else if you ever get a chance to come on here - Crumble, anyone else I've missed!

love Billy x

Hi girls

This site is so hit and miss but I managed to get on it today!!!

Billy, how lovely to hear from you!! I did always hope things would have turned out differently for you but as you say you respect his decision and have been a solid rock you really have. Glad though that youre enjoying your life and are happy. Thankyou so much for everything over the last few years.

Chebs how are you and how is Jamie doing? We would love to hear. Did you manage to contact TAMBA for some support in the end? I am always thinking of you and hope that you are OK.

Crumble are you still out there?

Well all is OK with me now. I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and have had a few dramas. My waters went at 23 weeks 6 days and so I was put into hospital for a week to bedrest and was given all the stats if I went into labour which they thought I would. Anyway I havent and my little baby boy is doing well inside and my water level is normal! Its all very weird but I'm so glad he's OK. I am so big this time around I swear I won't make full term but time will tell. I will pop on here to keep you updated.

Just so you know also mummymich has recently been in hosptial too and is currently resting at home after breathing difficulties. She was checked out for clots but they didn't find anything serious thank god.

Bye for now Sam, XXX

Hi everyone,

It's nice to see that this site is up and running again (well sort of). It's good to see everyone again and such good news all around too!

A quick update from me... Jamie is finally home. He came home on my birthday almost 2 weeks ago which was a great present. To be honest though, rather than being excited I was scared to death! He's such hard work. I'm breastfeeding him which I'm finding hard (I'm sure he's not latching on properly) and he is feeding every 2-3 hours, day and night. I can't wait until he starts to smile and gets a bit more interractive cos all it is these days is eat, sleep, poo and cry! I wouldn't have it any other way though ;-) I'm also looking forwarfd to the day that his feeds get a little more spaced out. I'd kill for 4 hours sleep a night!!! Are any of you on facebook cos I have a lot of pics of Jamie and Holly on there?

Anyway, enough about me...

SJ - wow not long to go now. This time this year is like a total 360 turn-around for you compared with this time last year. I bet you're so happy. Please let us know how you're doing and if frostie has arrived yet.

Mantha, I hope you're taking it easy hun, it must have been so scarry when your waters went. That's how my probs started but I only managed to keep the babies in for an extra 6 days. You've done so well. Keep those legs crossed for a few more weeks!!

Billy good to hear from you. I'm sorry your DH had decided against donor eggs, it's such a shame but I think you're a very good and special person by being able to respect his wishes...it must be very hard. Whatever the two of you decide to do I'm sure you'll be very happy. Maybe more pups?? I would if I could!

Hey Mummymich, how are you doing? Do you still come on here?

Hi Amy, Summer, Mantha and anyone else lurking. I hope you're all OK.

Take care C xx

F lovie massive congrats to you on the birth of your twins. I hope you are recovering well after the birth, its so hard. Mine was rather traumatic too but hopefully you'll be on the mend in no time. Great weights too!!

Chebs so lovely to hear from you sorry to hear things are difficult at the moment. I think anyone who has been what you have been through would struggle but it sounds as though you are coping great. If you can get through the first few weeks breastfeeding it will get easier. The first few weeks are so hard and not to mention painful. When my waters broke they advised me to stop feeding my DS so I did at 21 months but I did actuallly give him a feed last night after 3 weeks and he still loves it and I still have milk. One of my girls always had difficulty latching on and I managed until 5 months with a struggle. Whatever you can do is great. I am on FB but worry so much that people will read really personal info. How do I get round that?

I'm doing well and little man is happy. I do feel enormous this time and reckon this baby will be humungous!! I have a scan next week to check him and the water level but my belly is so tight I would say I have more water right now rather than less! I feel very lucky to have not gone into labour TBH when I went in and thank god that our baby had other ideas.

Hi to Billy, do pop on when you can its so nice when we all catch up on here.

Ok better be off. Its my 43rd birthday tomorrow eek can't believe I'm still doing this at 43!! Not a penny to my name so it'll be a dull one! Bye for now XX

Hi ladies,

F-love, many congratulations on the birth of your twins. I was wondering how you are. I bet you're so glad they're here after such a difficult pregnancy. I bet you never thought you'd see this day!! Well done!

Mantha how are you doing? Have you managed to keep hold of your little one? I hope all is OK. About facebook, I could send you a PM with my email address then you can send a friend request to me using that. This way no-one else from this site would be able to access your personal info if you don't want them to.

Mich, Oooohhh you're getting close now I bet you're excited. Isn't it funny how this forum has had such a hange of luck this year?

Anyone heard from SJ? Hope she's OK.

Take care

C x
