Hi SJ. Thanks for your well wishes! His name is jared vincent. I still can't get over having a boy, its just amazing first and foremost that he's healthy but to have a boy with our 2 girls is wonderful. The girls are great with him, if a little rough but they don't know their own strength and how fragile he is. I expect he will have to grow up tough to cope with 2 older sisters Smiler Hope you are OK and July/Aug will be here before you know it. Its really exciting isnt it. To be honest after having such a beautiful birth experience, I can never say never regarding trying for a 4th. How mad am I???!!!

Hi
just stalking these days and not really posting!

Been on Clomid for 3 months now and no luck so far.

CD2 today and starting on double dose 100mg clomid tonight so please please please let that work!

Sad news - my sister lost her baby. She had a 6 week scan and saw heartbeat and then when she went back for her 12 week scan it had died. So obviously we are devastated about that.
Then my friend finally got pregnant on her 5th round of IVF - only to lose it at 5 1/2 weeks. So not really sure where I am at these days or if a sustainable pregnancy will ever happen for any of us?

So - trying not to get others down so staying away for a bit and trying to get healthy, slimmer and hopefully one day - pregnant or at least a bit more PMA!!

Babydust to all of you and thanks for your supportive messages over the past months/years

LOL
Billy xx

Hi girls, haven't been on this site in ages, but just thought I should pop in and say hi.

Mantha, congrats on your son! Wow, I remember when you got pregnant. Well done girl.

Sorry to hear about your sister Billy.

Hi to all my old friends. Not much news from Antigua, Caitlyn will be going to kindergarten in September. She's growing up too fast. Otherwise my sister-in-law is 34 weeks pregnant so there'll be another baby in the family soon (even if in Canada). Sheldon is finally working! It's so nice to have a two income family again (we were struggling a bit there).

Hope all my old girls are good and I do miss you guys. Sorry I've been so out of touch.

Hi Guys
just saw on the due Jan and Feb 2009 thread that there is some great news from one of the old 2WW members.
Could do with a few more joining - any news from anyone?

I am taking a back seat from posting but still TTC. ON 4th round of Clomid - 100mg this time and now in the 2WW. Then if it doesn't work this time I will ave a month off as I am in HK when OV is due so unless I can take DP in my suitcase with me there is not much point taking the grumpy clomid drugs!!

Wishing you all the best and lots of babydust coming your way

Bills xx

Hi all,

HUGE congrats to Mantha and Ever. You're both so lucky to have your little ones, but I guess you know that already!

I thought I'd put a post on here to keep the forum alive, it's such a shame that everyone's gone. I'm no-one to talk as I hardly ever post on here either!

I'm not sure if you'll remember me as it's been a while but I've been TTC since May '06 with no joy so far. I've had several tests done and the only thing that's slighty wrong are my day 21 progesterone levels. They were 23, 45, 25, 42 and 29 (should be over 30). In May I saw the Gyne consultant at my local hospital who had none of my notes. She diagnosed me based on what I told her. She was going to refer me for IVF but then prescibed me Clomid when I said my hormones were sometimes low. She was CLUELESS!!! I can't believe she just gave me what I wanted rather than making an informed decision. I have no faith in the woman. Anyway, on my first month on clomid my day 21 progesterone was 127 (OH MY GOD!!!) Surely this isn't normal? I'm now on CD30 so am feeling tense to say the least. I have no idea when I ov'd as ff thinks I ov'd on day 21 but that is impossible (with such a high prog result on day 21). Had a temp rise on day 9 then again on day 16 and a pos OPK on day 18 so who knows. I may test this weekend. I have no symptoms at all so am not very hopeful, except for mild period-style feelings in my lower tummy. It feels like I'm going to come on at any moment (but it's not as strong as period pain). This is driving me mad!!!

Good luck next time you try clomid again Billy. I hope it works next time. I read somewhere that it doesn't usually work in the first 3 months. But then again I read a lot and it often conflicts each other. Who knows. Lets keep our fingers crossed! I found a 4-leaf clover last month (I'm getting desperate now, haha!)

Anyway, that's my story. Sorry it's so long.I hope I didn't bore you.

Take care all,

Chebs

Hello everyone

Just wanted to share some good news with everyone and give you all hope.

My friend who has pcos and endometreosis has just got a BFP after her first cycle of IVF. She was told by numerous doctors it was not possible for her to get preg because of how bad both her conditions are and they would not give her IVF on the nhs so they went private and now she is 3 months pregnant with TWINS!!

So never give up even if you get bad news from the doctors it can and will happen

Good luck girls

Munchkin, SJ, Billy, Biddee, Chebs, SarahW, thanks so much for your congrats Smiler Little man Jared is now 4 weeks old and is just gorgeous but then I am biased. I feel very lucky and blessed. The girls have taken to him very well and are quite protective of him. The only trouble really is that they both want to cuddle him at the same time and so he can get a bit smothered!

SJ not long now before the IVF. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that its a short journey for you. Hope youre not working yourself to the bone because you need to be chilled and well rested for the treatment! I will be looking here for any updates XX

Hope all is OK with your sister Billy. Thats very sad isnt it to find out at the 12 week scan. That happened to me too for my first pregnancy but didnt affect the 2nd one which was the girls. Good luck with the weight loss though and hope to see you post here soon with some better news XX I wish so much that TTC was easier for everyone so we didnt have to go through months and years of despair. Not fair is it.

Good to hear from you Biddee. Caitlyn must be looking forward to Kindy. My girls started in Feb this year and they do love it. Its worked out well witht he birth of jared really as it gives me some time alone with him in the early months.

Chebs, I miss the gorls too, it seems like everyone has disappeared but I know that a lot of people have moved over to the new thread set up by Kate called Bumples. I havent joined mainly because I think I need to spend a bit less time on the net really as its quite addictive! I do miss a lot of the regulars though. The clomid sounds like it doing good things though. I really hope you get some good news pretty soon as its been a long time waiting. Good luck.

Had better go as Jared is smelling of rancid milk from overnight so I'm off to give him a nice warm bath. Bye for now XX
