Hello applei,

I had this happen to me also but what I did was take another one the next day as it should get a tad bit darker. But any line in the window rather it be faint or dark is considered a BFP Big Grin So hopefully you will be joining Vicky and I in the due in Jan/Feb thread really soon Wink Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin But I would like to be the first on here to Say CONGRATS!

Hello applei!

This sounds exciting! I used a cheapy test with my last baby that I got from home and bargain and got a faint line as well. It was a BFP so it looks like good news for you!

Keep us all posted.

Sending you an extra big dollop of baby dust just to be on the safe side!

Hi all!
I'm new to this site and just looking to share my experiences with everyone for moral support and confidence boost:-(
Me and my hubby have been ttc for 1 year now but not been successful. I was on the pill previously and when I came off had 2 normal cycles (30 and 31 days) . The 3rd month I was late and was convinced i was pregnant as v. hormonal with mood swings but did several preg tests and all neg :-(. I eventually Came on on day 53 and put it down to random cycle but have been all over the place since (42, 47, 53 days). Had tried the opk but had no evidence of ov so went to drs after 6mths of ttc. Did day 21 blood test which showed no ovulation due to low progesterone (all other hormones normal). She didn't repeat but says i'm not ovulating. Should they have retested to see if i ovulate v.v.late??? (doubtful!)
Thought holiday might help (relaxation & lots of attempts ttc just in case bizarre ovul pattern) but unfortuneatly got to day 53 and period came :-(.
Have spoken to GP since back from hol and had day 2 bloods to check other hormones prior to fertility referral. LH and FSH normal but progesterone is still low! Have now been referred for fertility treatment in nhs but looks like it'll be 4mths before i even get an appt so playing a waiting game! GP thinks clomid is prob the answer as i'm only 26, fit and well and normal weight (so not likely PCOS). Had thought about going private to get on the clomid asap (So I feel like i'm doing something!!!) but not sure if this will limit any NHS input in the future (as can't see me being able to afford private IVF if this is the case later down the line). Any ideas or advice welcome-Be good to hear from anyone

I am also new here. DH and I are both about to turn 36. We were married Oct. 2006 and immediately began TTC. Started seeing RE Jan. 2007. After going through a battery of painful and expensive tests myself, the RE finally decided they should check my husband out. Found out that DH has no sperm. Tried four IUI attempts with donor sperm, one resulting in a chemical pregnancy (the one time the inseminations were done 1 & 24 hours after trigger). After reading several fertility books, based on my fertility signs, I have been ovulating within hours of receiving the HCG shot. My RE insists that every woman ovulates exactly 36 hours after the shot and the egg lives for 24 hours after that, so most of my cycles I had IUI after ovulation. This cycle will be my first cycle I will be trying AI at home (ICI) with no doctor involvement.

It is such a shame no one seems to be using this forum anymore as I found it a real lifeline whilst I was ttc.

I hope there will be a new life to this thread soon.

Emma I agree with you - I wouldn't have got through the dark days without this forum - sad that it all had to go belly up. Maybe someone will be brave enough to start again? I'd hate to have to go through ttc no 3 without anyone to share it with Frowner

Hi Ever,

I'm still here, I don't know if you remember me as I don't post very often but I lurk quite a lot!! Congratulations on the birth of your son, I bet you're so chuffed and proud.

It's a shame that everyone's left this site as it's really nice to know that there are others out there in the same boat. For a while it got a bit crowded here and I couldn't keep a track of everyone. Thats why I didn't post very often! Feeble excuse I know!

Anyway, I hope things pick up again soon. I'm going to catch up on the 12 months+ thread.

Take care

Chebs

Hi there! Well, I haven't been here for awhile either.. Was waiting to TTC. Now we are officially "letting things happen" Wink We BDd on the 23rd and I realized that I was cutting it close.. but the rest of the week I was very crampy.. like ov pains. I do have OV pain usually.

I don't temp. I used an online OV calculator. I am regular as rain.. 28 day cycle. My fertile window is the 27th to the 2nd of July. We BDd the 28th. Have had a fullness feeling since the 23rd though.. probably ov?? Anyway, so I don't know if we should BD again. My CM was ewcm on friday and sat. My man noticed how wet I was when we BDd. now it's not. sticky kinda..

Maybe tmi but I made sure I kept the sperm.. well as much as I could since I was on top.. some got "lost" .. had an "O"..

Anyway, anyone have advice or suggestions? My last pregnancy, I kept it once and bada bing! It worked right away. My son is 5 1/2.

Thanks a bunch!

Babydust!

Nadine
