Just to put my two pennies worth in i had my son at 16 I did ask my mum if i could go on the pill at 15 she said NO!!! do what you think is right! may be ask her if she is having sex and does she want to go on the pill!! I would say a big YES put her on the pill. I hope this helps a little!!!

Oh by the way i didnt get pregnant on purpose took other precautions that didnt work!!!! and the withdrawal method def does not work. Also it worries me about all the nasty diseases you can catch!!

I think you should talk to your daughter about it...at the end of the day even though she is only 15 if she wants to have sex she will and at that age ....sounds silly but even though she may think she is ready to have sex she may not be mature enough to actually say the words have you got a condom to her boyfriend. She will make her own mistakes and the best thing you can do is to protect her from the things you can protect her from and hard as it will be let her learn for herself with everything else. All you can do is give her the facts and hope she is sensible enough to keep herself safe and not do anything she isnt ready for. But obviously you'll need to talk to her a it has to be her decision. I dont have children yet but i am trying to concieve. I was a great believer in "Implanon" before i was trying to concieve. It is still not very common but is fantastic for young girls i think. It is an implant contraceptive that is about 2cm long and is inserted into the inside of the upper arm and lasts for 3yrs. Their arent many side effects at all and your daughter cant forget to take it.

my mum says she is gonna put me on the pill when i start i think it is a great idea but it is also up to your daughter a bit. i would sit her down and talk to her say that you have concerns about her future and maybe she might agree with you. if she doesnt then maybe try going to your gp and give her some advice. if not then you cant really force her to have the pill because she is 15

i went on th pill at 14. by my own choice, to help my painfully periods. i didn't have a boyfriend at the time but because i was already using the pill it was one less worry at the time. i wish my mum would spoken to me and asked my opinons, as i did it on my own and felt lonely. i think that you should ask your daughter her opinons. tell her that you would like it if she went on the pill, she might already be on it.

if you ask your daughter insted of telling her what to do, she will respect you more. good luck.

hi,i am 15 and i tell my mom everything she knows when i drink pary chill and even knows when i have sex and with who she dont like it but she rather me tell her than hide it from her me and my mom is pretty close so one day i ask my mom if i could go to this party and she said i been meaning to talk to you bout something and i said ok shev started in the convosation bout i know you had unpertected sex more than one time and i said 2 and she replayed with ive been thinking bout you going and gettin on the pill,and if you dont want to there is a dui and a nova ring out there and more just go cheek it out please so i went and cheek it out i thought bout it for a couple of days and i talk to some of my best friends about the typic and she said her mom got pergant of the nova ring and it dint work so i calle dup a hotline and was talking to them about it and the said the same thing bout the nova ring and they also said the dui can fall out of place and fall out at anytime and if i was to do anything the pill really works so i went back to my mom after a couple of days i told her i wantted to get on the pill it wasnt something i was really confable about and i felt like a slut the first coulple days but i relize i would never be a young mom having it hard and having to give a baby up i dont think i could do it so after i figured it out i dont reqret it at all and i think she feel the same way at first i know everyone is diffrent but she will tank you in the long run
