no thanks! awful programme - lucky for you that there is a disclaimer after the show! the breastfeeding advice is awful!!!!! is she sponsored by a formula compamny or something! no wonder the breastfeeding support groups of the UK wanted nothing to do with the show when approached! if you need feeding advice go to a qualified counsellor or lactation consultant.

I disagree, from what I've seen so far I've found it to be very informative, especially the pick up put down routine. I had terrible trouble with my son who is now 6, at bedtime, at least by using that I shouldn't have the same problems! I actually spoke to my Health Visitor about combining breast and bottle and she said that it was fine!

I think Tracy Hogg is just taking a balanced view. Exclusive breast feeding does not suit every mum. Personally I think she's great. Her sleep advice has absolutely saved my sanity.

I also thinks its a great TV programme and i'm not a mother yet - not long to go though! I've been concerned about babies sleeping as i know so many people who have problems with their littles one at bedtime. Baby Whisperer has really put my mind to rest on certain things. I think shes great. Definately agree with Ola_Hambley, i'd like to see some different shows.

I agree...I think the women is annoying and not all of her advice is sound. I have been a Nanny for 13 yrs and I would never push mother's just towards formula and bottle. There are huge pro's and con's towards breast and bottle but you do what suits you and your baby. Much of her advice is just basic common knowledge regarding kids behaviour and people talk as if she is some sort of genius..please!! She is not a genius..she's just lived in the states too long and starting to believe her own hype a little too much. Give me Gina Ford any day. Her book is MUCH easier for new mothers to follow and understand. Yes..she is a little bit of a bossy old bag but you take what you want from her routines and you adapt it to fit you and your life style

Each to there own. I think when you are desperate you'll try anything be it the Baby Whisperer or Gina Ford, or anyone else who may be able to help you get some sleep!
I think baby whisperer is an excellent programme. I had a premature baby last year weighing 1lb 12oz, and the advice that Tracey gives to mothers is much of the same advice I was given when i was having troubles with my little boy when he came home, and within the first few months...well done Tracey Hogg.

i have to say that i think the baby whisperer is brill. i watched the shows while i was pregnant with my son (who is 7 months old) and i found it very imformative and good advice. do agree that new shows would be better.

I am a mother of 4 grown up children, all of which I had sleep problems. I also have a 2 year old grandson. Thanks to Tracy Hogg's pick up put down method I don't have any problems putting him to bed when he stays with me (which is quite a lot). I wish Tracy had been around for advice when my own children were small!!!!!!
