I too am a member of www.wlsinfo.org.uk and have been since October. I am having a Gastric Bypass later in the year and the site has been invaluable to me pre op as a great research tool, not to mention the support I have had through the members.

Hi there! I'm also a member of that fantastic site/forum/support resource www.wlsinfo.org.uk
Ellen - you're amazing and look fantastic! It was good to see obesity being tackled in an objective manner for a change. Great programme and as a pre-opper, I'm looking forward to seeing more this week.

Hi,my name is shelley and i am an avid watcher of the desperate dieters series. I myself am looking for extream ways to loose weight. In the program a diet called 'Howards Way' was used, and even my best efforts at finding out about this diet and how to start it has come to nothing. I would be so greatfull if some one could inform me of how you find out about this plan or who to contact. Thank you.

This is the first time I'm watching DD. I missed it on Monday, so can anyone tell me how much Chandi lost in her first weigh-in. I am thinking of doing Howards Way and wondered what sort of results I can expect.
Thanks

Hi, desperate dieters is a great program and makes us slim people in the making feel as though we are not alone. I was inspired by the howards way thing after reading about a girl who dropped 6 stone in 6 months - how can that not be appealing? As a couple of people have mentioned it isn't the easiest thing to find out about and to be honest when i contacted Howards way directly there were a few things that really put me off - the price and inflexibility of the councilling being the main two. Along the same line is a diet called lipotrim which is made by the same company but is significantly cheaper and you only have to comitt to it weekly where as with the howards way thing you have to contractualy agree to 5 weeks in the first instance. Have a look at lipotrim thread on here, it is very inormative and you will get a good idea of what you are getting into!- I'm not the best exapmle as have only lost 18lbs in 4 weeks but there are losses that will seriously amaze you! The easiest way to get it is from the chemist and you have to go every week to get weighed and take a urine test with you so that they know you haven't eaten anything, but not all chemists do it. I think on the lipotrim website itself there is a list of places that do the program alternatively your GP maybe able to help. Good Luck whatever route you decide!

hi, i am new to this site, i am too a dd-aholic! i am currently on Cambridge Diet which is basically the same as lipotrim, Lighterlife and Howardsway. I am prob not the best example cos i find it very easy to JUMP off the wagon at times but it def does work, if you have the willpower!!
keep up the good work guyz and girlz... love mar x
