I need help. I am a 21 year old law student, which keeps gaining weight, I can't seem to diet, I know that I do not eat properly, while I am studying, I just eat junk food, to save time. Now I am up to 246 lbs. I can't keep going on like this. I don't have much time to cook healthy meals, cuz I have a job too. I hope to get some good ideas here.
hi sweet tooth, i am 23 and i finished my law degree 2 years ago, i know how stressful and longwinded law could be, and you just dont really have the time to do anything. My daughter is going to be three this october and i am still trying to get the weight off form that, i am currently 266 pounds. i have tried so many diets the cambridge is a really good diet and you do lose weight really quickly but as i am so young it is very hard to socialise when your on such a diet, and the temptation to eat is always there as i have to cook for my daughter and my boyfriend. But hand on heart i will tell you a really good diet that will fit in with your busy schedule, and that diet is slimming world, you dont lose the weight as quick as you would on ll or cd, you lose anything form 1-7 ponds in your first week, then 2 pounds thereafter. Slimming world ins not a diet, it is more of a healthy eating plan, and you can still have all the things you enjoy like cakes, sweets and chocolate but in moderation. Check out the website which is wwww.slimmingworld.com.

Hiya sweettooth, I was young and fat now i'm middle aged (34) and fat! Do something about it now hun, else you'll regret it. Now i'm currently on LL, and have done slimming world too! I am a mum of 3 kids, that are 2,10 and 11yrs, my 10yr old is disabled and really poorly and i'm half way through my degree in business studies with the OU, and i work from home too running an entertainments business....so hectic is my middle name too lol
Slimming world is good, BUT, it is not fast and there is no real counselling, PLUS you can still have the odd treat which for me was a down side, because one led to another. I did managed to lose 4 stone on SW so it does work, however i put 2and a bit on within a year :-( it really is a diet for life, where by you eat either lots of meat and veg and weigh out your v small portion of carbs as in potatoes, rice and pasta....or you can eat lots of carbs and veg and weigh your meet portion...go back to eating half and half again afterwards and the weight comes back as i found out!!
Currently i'm on LL, i have been on it 4 weeks and have lost 19lbs! Now thats fast, they say you WILL lose a stone a month and most people lose that and a bit more....But the best bit that no other diet or programm offers is the counselling, you get an hour to 90mins a week counseeling finding out why you eat when you do and what you do. Your body goes into a state of ketosis (not the dangerous diabietes kind BTW) and after about 4 days you are well into that, and your body starts eating your fat. YOu have 4 packs a day that are iether shakes or soups or bars.....which for you would be fab, they take seconds to make and you don't have to go shopping. YOu have to drink 4 litres of water a day which flushes all the bad stuff out of your body and gives your skin the elasticisty it needs to go back to shape and also improves your skin texture. Lighter life is the only programm that offers the therapy and it is so worth it. I was addictied to food and diet coke, i really think i'm getting over my addictions, i already have to diet coke, which is amazing considering i would drink 2ltres plus a day before. I have tons of energy now, and have brought a bike and go out every day on it, i feel fantastic! The down side is the price it is £66 a week.....BUT its is for 14 weeks and more if you need to lose more, BUT honeslty where can you get all your food, and counseeling done without paying more for it. CD cambridge diet is (i believe) 3 packs a day and no counselling but it is about half the price of LL, i have never tried so cannot comment on it, the only reason i needed to do Lighterlife is because i could not stop eating before! My friend has lost an amazing 17stones in 7 months, half the man he was and looks utterly fantastic!
I really hope some of this information has helped you??? Any futher questiions just ask!
Thank you sexy t and bigbird, sure is good to know that I am not alone with this problem. I just don't know what to do, I am only 21 and I have zero friends, no wonder, the way I look and I am so busy with school and my part-time job. Well, I am not all that busy, it is just that no body ever wants me to do something with them, they never ask. I am not ugly, just FAT !!I am sure, that with your support I can do this. Thank you for telling me your stories, I don't feel so alone.
Hello Sweet tooth, You sound so fed up hunny...Despite being fat you are obviously a nice person...being fat doesn't change your personality, but it can knock your self esteem...I think you need to start liking yourself again.. why not make a list of all your good points....Is there anybody at college or work who you are friendly with? maybe they are waiting for you to suggest doing something...It is hard i know.. i am about the same weight as you and i have always been overweight... i have lost weight in the past and regained it... I have learnt over the years that no matter what i weigh.. inside i am the same person with the same fears..Trying to lose weight will certainly boost your self esteem but you need to learn to like yourself... I wish you lots of luck with your weight loss.. we are here to support you... Take care claire xxx

Thank you Claireom, your post made me feel better. I do have good qualities, some people have told me that, they just don't want to take a fat person out to a disco. I went once alone and went home after an hour, and I didn't see one fat person there. Where are they all. I was thinking about going to a gym, but I am sure I will give it up if I am the only fatty there. Maybe I should just start with changing my eating habits ? What do you think ?
Well, I spent alot of time checking on different things to help me kick start my weight losing spree. I ran into a new helper Levocaptine it is totaly natural, sounds good to me, They offer a support hotline and I gave them a call, and the fitness trainer took his time and explained alot of things to me, which I never thought of. Really a nice service and I did order a months supply. Will let you know when I start.
I´m not that young anymore, but fat I am. have read closely, how you feel - kinda reminds me of myself. good luck with your dieting and let me know, if this levocaptine really works.
take care SomeDay (...we´re all thin )

Hi, I just wanted to say good luck i'm in the same boat im 23 and way way bigger than i want to be. The best thing ive found at the mo and has been advised to me is keeping focused because as soon as you give up mentally its gone. So I try to imagine everyones reactions to my weightloss or buying cloths in the size i wana be and try to hold on to that feeling if your having a low day, also one that works with quiting smoking aswell, say if you were spending £10 a week on naughty things you shouldnt be eating or every time you wana buy a chocky bar you put the money in a pot and it can go towards your new wardrobe Hope it goes well!!!
Hi I received my Levocaptine on the 5th of Nov. and I started on the same day, Have to say I also started the Max Plank diet that they suggested on the website. I am very happy to say I have lost 5 lbs in this time. The diet is good, even tho I cheated a few times, I went right back to it. This is working out better than I expected. I am going to make it this time. I will keep you up on how things are going.
This is great, I am now down to 239, and to top it off I feel great. I hope that this keeps up, I plan to take Levocaptine for one month, by then I hope to have the kick start that I need. I can't believe how easy it is to stick to the diet too. I never could of done this before.
Hi SomeDay, yes I plan on taking Levocaptine for a month, I started on the 5th of Nov. and have lost 7 lbs, and it was soooo easy.. The diet is very simple, check it out Max Planck Diet, I am not having any trouble sticking to it at all.
Thanks for sharing the above tips it will really help all those people who are overweight. Obesity is a big problem now days, many people suffer health problem just because of it. According to me swimming is the best way to do exercise. It helps us in many ways. But with it we have to control on our eating habits too. We need to avoid that food which has fat.
