thanks karen for the support, i know you are right as always...

so i have finally managed to get back on track and although i am not managing to SS 100% i am managing to SS with protein when neccessary which isn't bad actually... went to see my CDC yesterday and she suggested telling myself that i can eat everyday if i want to and then the days i don't eat will be like a bonus.. so that is what i have been telling myself ... already i feel better for being back on the diet more in control and less bloated.... i went shopping yesterday and tried on some clothes imy nephews christening is in 2 weeks and i have nothing to wear and i have a wedding to go to in july so i want to get something i can wear to both... i was managing to squeeze into 18's which made me feel better although i couldn't breathe in them.. but there you go you can't have everything Roll Eyes Smiler.. i am hoping that when i go shopping in 2 weeks the 18's might fit me a bit better....they have asked us to be godparents Big Grin so i want to look nice... saw a nice dress in monsoon which looked quite nice and it would do for both.. not much else has been happening.. i painted hannahs bedroom today (well half of it.. i will do the other half on friday)... pink of course and it looks like candy floss.. she is very happy with it and said it looks lovely.. bless her !!!! and actually i have to say i would have loved my room painted that colour pink when i was 5 too!! Big Grin..
right i had better get the dinner on.. will catch up with you all later...hope you are all having a good day.
Claire

Well done,Clare
...... for getting back on the band wagon-it's so much harder to restart! Sounds like a good idea treating the days you don't eat as a bonus rather than beating yourself up-which is exactly what I do.

Will use that bit of advice for when I restart Friday. Wink

Hey DJ,
how are you? i must saying knowing that if i want to eat i can is keeping me going ...but it is early days yet..
Jax,
I could be wrong here andi may be sticking my neck out out on this one but could it be that you have to participate inthe video rather than watch it and i think you have to follow the diet rather than read it loads of times.... Wink Razzer.. just a thought there Big Grin

Hi Claire
I did cd 2 yrs ago - lost 3 and a half stone put 2 back on and now seriously considering CD again. My hubby extremely p ***ed off about me restarting. He has issues about me not eating proper food! I have tried all the other diets but this is the only one that works for me so like you i need a serious kick up the bum. I just need to get my head round SSing again Roll EyesGood luck

Hi Marie, i always end up going back to CD i think it is the only diet that truly works for me...when ( very positive Wink ) i get to my goal weight i will do maintenance properly this time in a bid to keep the weight off... my hubby doesn't like me doing SS either because he says it's no fum eating on your own.. even though i try ot have my soup with him and DD....mind you DD also asks questions butusually excepts when i say i had a big lunch.. which is easy to get away with while she is at school...
good luck with your restart

Good morning,
well i can report that this week i have lost 8lbs which i am really pleased about.. and i have managed to stick to the diet quite well over the weekend ( well i was working Roll Eyes )still taking it one day at a time and though i have had the odd slip there have been more good days than bad days so i can't complain..i am going to continue to take it one day at a time... because with each restart i do it is always the second week that i find tougher mentally, to get through.. perhaps because the loss isn't as good...
anyway, i hope you are all having a good day and enjoying the sun.

Big Grin Big Grin I started cd on tues got weigh Smilered this morning and lost 6 lbs already - think i must have been a camel in a former life with the amount of water ive been drinking. Like you ive got to do maintenance properly this time i think thats why i put the weight back on. My sister in laws wedding in sept so got to get the weight off (bought a size 12 coast dress yesterday! Im skint but optimistic!) shes a size 8 and a bit of a bitch so the slimmer i am the better Smiler Smiler Now if that doesnt give me incentive nothing will.

Marie i am sure you will show your SIL and get into that coast dress...

Bnannaa, Jax is a very funny lady!!!
Hello all,
well i had a bit of a hectis weekend and was not dieting at all... went to SIL's on sat and ended up having fish and chips for lunch..(didn't enjoy or want them but it was easier to eat them than to explain i was back on my diet again) then went to a party in the evening where i did partake of a few glasses of wine.. although was not as bad as i could have been Eeker... then on sunday i stood as godmother for my sisters baby boy and had a lovely day... of course ate too much but surprisingly didn't drink that much.... any way i am back on track today and doing not too badly although i wouldn't say o have managed to SS allday (there was a cheese incident..OOPS)
still i am hoping to get back to where i was on friday morning.. why do the scales change so massively in a matter of a couple of days .. lets hope they change back down as quickly!!!
Anyway, hope you are all ok and i will catch up properly tomorrow hannahs has a friend over
claire
