Hi all, thanks for all your kind words and support, i really need them and it means alot to me... i went to see my CDC this morning and my start weight was 14stone, she is going away for 3 weeks so i got 3 weeks worth of packs and that suits me fine cos then i can just get on with it and hopefully by the timei next see her i will have had a good loss...she also took my measurements which were horrendous i have, according to her measuring, put on 5 inches on my hips and waist... i know that this is partly due to the op but it is still horrible... having said that i know that this is not a problem where my dress is concerned it's my back that is the problem there....she said if i am really good between now and the wedding there is no reason why i shouldnt lose between 1 and 1.5 stone so that made me feel better... she also told me stop worrying about my weight and not fitting into my dress, just concentrate on following the diet and the rest will fall into place....so here goes i suppose... well i had better start tidying up the house it looks like a bomb has hit it!!! claire x

Go for it Claire. I'm doing 790 cals as well now so I hope I can lose at least a stone by your wedding as well! Anyway, you'd look good in a black sack! But OMG your gonna look stunning in your dress. I was joking about the invite! Kam xx

Hi Kam, of course i know you were joking but you'd be very welcome to come along to the evening if you wanted to..it's a bit far i know... thanks also for the lovely comments, i don't see the stunning bit myself but i will accept your compliments with gratitude TOTM this week so of course weight loss has come to an abrupt standstill buthopefully it will reflect next week.. diets going ok...back at work yesterday which wasn't too bad..i think they were easing me in to be honest.. i am still trying to find something else but nothing out there at the moment...sounds like you're getting all the jobs I have posted on you thread congrats already... wedding plans are coming along nicely... i had my first flip out on sunday and walked out of the house..it was a clmination of not being able to find a house to buy...feeling cramped where we are wedding stress and hannah not letting me wash her hair in the bath... ridiculous i know! but cooled down after a 20 minute walk and got back to find hannah safely out of the bath with washed hair and in her PJs's ready for a story...i am sure it won't be the last freak out i have... there is still one more TOTM before the wedding.. trouble is it may start the day of the wedding... didn't plan that very well did I? oh well....anyway glad you are haveing a great time hopw everyone else is keeping well and managing to lose loads of weight!! take care claire x

Arnie and I have had more rows in the last month than we ever have, I put it down to wedding stress. I know he was worried about his stagg and although i hate to admit it I'm terrified I've forgotten something crutial, but thankfully it all seems to be calming down and getting back to normality. I sometimes wish it would just hurry up and happen. All this fuss over 1 day. I think I need a bridezilla friend to come and take charge, she can do the worrying for me instead, I understand why people have wedding planners. Well I'm almost done, only 9 days left to go, just the make up trials and silly beauty things to do. How are your plans coming along? Or shouldn't I ask?

HI Sam, OMG only 8 days to go how are you coping , i must admit your post sounds rather calm. i am also feeling like ...can't wait to get this over and done with.... The plans are coming along ok..i rang the bridal shop and they said my bridesmaids dresses were coming in today and they would ring me hopefully monday once they had checked everything.. i am looking forward to seeing them. We are meeting with the wedding coordinator at the hotel to finalise arrangements on monday morning...and i am having my makeup trial on sunday morning.. i have developed the biggest spot just above my chin which will definitely test her make up skills..hahahaha....how are you really feeling so close to the day...or perhaps i shouldn't ask...i hope you're going to post some lovely piccies of yourself (and hubby of course) Are you still trying to lose weight or is it just dropping off with the stress as everyone says it does (bet that doesn't happen to me!) Vikki, thanks for the vote of confidence... i am sure to have a few more flip outs before the big day...how are you doing? claire x

HI Julie, no it isn't too long now..i am trying to adopt the ostrich approach to the wedding but it isn't working I haven't been on much for the last few days so i will catch you all up with whats been going on...Hannah has been really poorly the last few days with really high temperatures but she is like a different child today thank God. i have been having a horrible cold the last couple of days i am sure it's because i went back to work...Hospitals are full of germs anyway despite this and TOTM i managed to lose a respectable 2lbs so that's something i suppose. i met up with the hotel wedding coordinator this morning and found out that my timings are slighlty wrong so 30 evening guests will be arriving when we are still eating probably, but this isn't my fault the wedding coordinator is a different on to the one who we started with who didn't go through any of this before i sent out the invites despite me ringing him and asking when we could met up to fnalise things so i tried to work out what i thought would the running of the day and obviously didn't allow enough time... i'll just have to hope that everyone eats quickly i suppose anyway i am not going to worry about this.. that is the hotel staffs job!!!she was very nice though and seemed well in control so that's something i suppose. We are still looking to buy a house but i think we have to face facts that we are not going to have an offer accepted before we go away...which is a shame but we are going to focus on the wedding and worry about the other stuff when we get back... Hope everything is ok with everybody. sorry for my long post...just for my own head really. claire x

I sometimes read your posts and wonder if we were separated at birth. We seem to have the similar things going on. Although you are returning to work I've just changed jobs, trying to sell our houses, getting married, got a little girl to be bridesmaid, we're talking about out next child. The list goes on. Well the first job this morning was to check the weather forcast for Sat, it's showers, it says that for today too but it's peeing it down so I've been out to buy as many golf umbrellas I can find. Nightmare. I'm thinking of getting my little girl a pair of wellies to match her dress, save her white shoes for the reception. Think that may be quite quirky. I've told people to come o the evening too early to. Lets just hope the speaches don't go on and on. Well done on losing the 2lb, do you have much more to get down to the dress fitting size?

Lol Claire, I do a lot of chatting for my own benefit on here too! I also had loads of guests turn up for the evening do before the day do was finished (many many many years ago!) I dont remember it causing a problem though, they started a few years later A fab weight loss again as well, you are soooo going to be positively floating down that aisle! For you and for Sam I shall pray for good weather. It absolutely PEEEEEEED it down the day I got married. At ten in the morning I was walking down the main A6 in t-shirt and jeans getting soaked to the skin picking up white brollies. Then I went home and decided I wasnt going to get married in the rain and went back to bed (in hundsight possibly should have stayed there, not really, got two fab girls and the best marriage EVER since he moved out 11 years ago, love him to death now, just so long as he stays in his own house!) Anyhow, back to the wedding day, was persuaded to get ready, car turned up, sun came out at ten to three and all went well apart from the hypothermia (it was March). The sun will shine on you ladies, I just know it. JaxII

OMG Sam , i bet you are feeling like a bag of nerves today....have you got everything sorted? i am sure you have!! looking out at the weather today...its a bit lousy, but i will pray that it improves for you tomorrow...although they say if it rains on your wedding day it's lucky...so i am looking on it as a good omen... I want to see lots of beautiful piccies of your special day. Good luck tomorrow i hope the sun shines and you have a very long and happy marriage! Jax, you do make me laugh.. i think there is alot to be said for living in separate houses and in years to come it may be the advice that relate give!!! I tried on the dress in the shop yesterday (mine is having the hem taken up at the moment) it's exactly the same size as my dress. and i am happy to say that it fit me PHEW!!! a little bit tight still but the panel covers me at the back now...thank God so i hope that by the wedding the dress will be fitting me perfectly.. although i have 2 hen nights to go to...that obviously i can't not drink at... tonight and then the week before the wedding... so i am going to take it easy but then i think i might have to try and SS in between them to give my self the maximum chance...still i feel a bit more confident about it all. so that helps...I am trying to stay calm about the final details but it isn't easy i will be glad when the day arrives (providing i haven't forgotton anything majorly important... I am not getting much time to come on here but how are you doing? is the diet going ok for you? i know you are slimming down for Julies Auction night. how is that going? Any way i must dash...going to have a quick shake and then pick up hannah from school and we are all going to the Soft play area Mad!!! HAve a lovely day everyone! claire x
