Come on Claire, you can do this. Just think of it as one less thing to worry about. There is enough a woman has to put up with when organising a wedding, worrying about your weight should be the last thing on your mind. Give yourself 2 weeks to get as much of the weight of as you can(i'd recommend SSing if you can or just the first few days to get you into ketosis), then sit back relax and enjoy the wedding process. Because its all the preperation you should be enjoying as well as the day.
I read you weren't getting much help, I didn't respond because I think i would rant and rant about my own. Needless to say, your not alone on this one. (I tend to start a conversation " I know you don't mind what I chose but can I have your opinion on this )But with 3 weeks left I'm now relaxed as ever, and waiting for it to happen.
I just stopped SSing, I'm going on holiday so wanted to make sure I had a buffer for my holiday XS's.
god I'm talking about me, when I meant to be encouraging you. Give yourself a break, We've all seen the pictures, you look fantastic, and I'm sure you will on the big day. Talk to your CDC and take as much advice as posible, thats what she gets paid for.
boots are officially off.

I'm doing really well Claire...I'm still 4 pounds lighter than Monday, and actually feel like I've cracked this whole weight loss thing for me now. I've just got to make better choices when I'm really hungry, because I'm grabbing the easy option and it's not been the healthiest one every time. The running is going very well too, infact I'm going out for a run later this afternoon. I've got my 2nd RFL on Sunday...so another goody bag and medal for me...hurrah!

I don't have any good ideas or advice but just wanted to say HI because I really feel for you. I hope you manage to lose the stone to get into the dress BUT I looked at your wedding pics when they were mentioned the other day and you are already gorgeous anyway. I do understand you wanting your big day to be perfect though...
I'm sure the 790 will work for you because that's quite low and it's part of a regime that worked for you before.
Hello All, just noticed that i was about to fall onto page 2 so i thought i had better update...i have been doing CD790 since monday and it is going quite well i have lost 5lbs already which i am pleased about and i have my meeting with my CDC tomorrow morning to get more packs. I have been managing to stick to the 790 principles..fairly easily... amazing what a bit of pressure can do for you isn't it.. only 37 days to go until the wedding... i can't believe how the time has flown...everything seems to be under control but i know that in the next 4 weeks things will be getting frantic... i am due to go back to work next week but that's ok it will take my mind off food and the wedding...We went to te solicitors today to get him to witness us signing our declaration that we have never been married before..( a requirement of the catholic church ) and it was really weird repeating after him "i do solemly swear..." it felt like we were getting married...and we couldn't help giggling a bit as we said it, god knows what we're going to be like stood in front of 70 people in the church ..ho hum well i had better get on a do something other than sitting at the computer..it's not as if there isn't loads to do. hope everyone is keeping well. catch up with you later, claire xx

Thanks girls but i have to be honest here and let you know that my ticker is not entirely accurate as i haven't updated it for a while.. i am not a third of the way to my target unfortunately... this morning i weighed 14 sotne exactly, so i still have 1 stone to go, i must update my ticker... sorry about that!!! Holly i was just reading your thread i am glad things are sorted with your BF, i started seeing my H2B when i was 18 which i guess is about the same age as you were when you guys started dating and now here we are 13 years later getting married....it's not easy being in a serious relationship especially when you are young, but have faith in yourselves, he obviously loves you and probably worries that you will run off and leave him with your fab new figure....Hope you feel better soon as well. claire x

Thanks Claire, It really helped me with all the support I got from here yesterday. I guess this was just a learning curve in our relationship, and I certainly have learnt my lesson!!! I never want to feel like i did ever again. It cant have been good for me! You must be so excited about your wedding. Wow at you've been together since you were 18!! I hope me and Paul last as long as you guys and get married one day.. Ahhh. Anyway! hehe xxxx

Hi Holly, just cross posted on your thread.. Relationships are so hard and it is all a learning curve, but you need to be able to let eachother know how your feeling even if it hurts the other person...in the end it will only make your relationship stronger...hopefully when you get married you won't be worrying about fitting into your wedding dress like me... but i will get there, i just don't know why i need to cut these things so fine!!!!. claire x

Hi Claire, of course you will get in that dress hun, no problem, just stick with it and those pounds will melt away in no time at all. How exciting, getting close isnt it and cant wait to see some photos of the big day. Keep focused chuck and you will have the most perfect day. Karenxx

OMG Claire 37 days is no time at all, but then again, plenty of time to hit your target, which you will. I've been trying again to SS but sliding inadvertently into my own version of 790 (which seems to include cheese and wine!) but determined to stick at it (especially the cheese and wine!) even if I lose more slowly.
Hollybear I have been trying to keep up with your trials and tribulations and am sorry that lack of time has meant I have been unable to pass on the wisdom of my considerable years to you! My posse seem to have been doing a good support job in my absence though
My eldest is just about to turn 21 and has been in the 'perfect' relationship for 18 months....oh yaaaaaawwwn...I was SO pleased when they started having the odd fall out a couple of months ago. If you dont have the lows how on earth can you appreciate the highs?
So wisdom (if somewhat limited) dispensed, I shall take my leave.
Night all

I'm sure you will fit in your dress and look fab. Please put the photos on here of the big day. Have you chosen your first dance music yet - I noticed your first dance thread ages ago. Our first dance was to 'how strong our love it' by Otis Reading which was beautiful, it wasn't one i'd heard until we started looking around for something that meant something but once we'd heard it that was it.
I cant believe the wedding is only 37 days away! God, back last year when we were chatting it seems ages away its come round so quick.
You can do this babe and im sure you'll look great in that dress. Keep focused.
You said you been wtih your H2B since you were 18, Ive been with my hubby since i was 13! Thats 24 years this year. Been married for 16 years. We still have our ups & downs, more downs lately than ups but that is only to be expected with what we been through recently but Im sure it will get better soon.
Stick with the 790 you'll do great.
Take Care, Karen
