hi everyone,
was working yesterday so didn't get a chance to come online.

Ails,
Hope i am not being nosey but who is 'the ****'?
Can't believe that i am asking....but did the fybogel work? Wink

Vikki,
I have to confess that i have done my afir share of fridge diving in the past.. i hope DP doesn't mis read fridge diving you know how mens minds work....LOL

Katie,
Not weird or preachy but very insightful and true. I completely get what you mean. my brain is starting to feel retrained into tring to make the right choices. of course it doesn't always want to listen or make the right choices, but lets face it thats what got me to this weight and more in the first place. You sound as if youv'e got your head in the right place thats half the battle isn't it?

Hi julie
Thanks for your kind words...and you're right drs don't always get it right. I spend time working with them....so i should know. how is your weight loss going? are you doing CD?
I am sure that your boys are gorgeous despite being terrors. I bet they're looking forward to xmas. DD( who's 4) put her letter to santa on the mantle piece last night to be collected. DP and I sprinkled glitter and tiny stars all over mantle and on hearth and left a lollipop where the letter was( very messy i know but worth it. this morning she was delighted 'santa left me a lollipop and look at all the magic glitter'. it made me start to fel a bit of the xmas spirit. I might put up xmas decs sooner than usual.
how is everyone doing today?

Today i went to see my new CDC who seemed very nice. Got a bit lost on my way but got there in the end. Anyway, on my CDC's scales i weighed 12.12. Cool which is great because on my own scales i weighed 13 without any clothes on. Of course i realise that all scales are different but feels good to be in the 12's. can't really say what my weight loss is though because of the difference so will have to wait until next week to post my weight. Now i have try and lose some by next week. which is easier said than done because i have my work night out and i fully intended to drink but now that i am back on 790 i am not sure if i want to drink.
Oh well i don't have to decide today i suppose.

how's everyone else getting on?

Hi Mandi,
Thanks for your reply. I only changed CDC because i moved house and was too far away to go my old CDC anymore. But she seems quite nice. i know that i can still have fun without drinking but the last few work nights out have been teetotal for me. and it would be so nice to get a bit tipsy for a change. having said that i'd probably overdo it and end up with a stonking hangover.
How is your diet going? are you doing CD? I can see that you're losing weight from your tracker. well done!

well today i was on a study day at work so had quite a nice relaxed day.
Managed to stick to diet all day and i am going to have a small dinner of beef and veg.

I find that when i am busy i can stick to the diet so easily but when i am having a quiet day i just want to eat all the time. I bet i'm not the only person on this forum to have that trouble. it's just finding other things to do to fill the void. sometimes i just go and try on some clothes that used to be too small for me and that works quite well to make me resist temptation.

Feeling a bit fed up this morning. Despite staying away from carbs completely and only having a meal of protein and veg in the evenings i do not seem to be losing any weight. Have to confess to weighing self everyday... I know this is BAD but it's the only way i can stay on the straight and narrow. Haven't put any weight on mind you so it's not too bad and i know that our weight fluctuates by a couple of lbs on a daily basis but still feel frustrated by it. Anyway, moan over.
Am going on my work night out tomorrow and was going to have the night off because the last few times i have been out i haven't drank any alcohol. and i really wanted to let my hair down this time. BUT now that i have got my focus back i'm not sure if i want to ruin it. Although haven't lost any weight anyway so part of me thinks what difference does it make? I ma tempted to drive and then i have got a good escuse not to drink. I never drink at all if i am driving so maybe i'll do that and then i can leave when i want to and still stick to the diet.
I'm beginning to bore myself now. LOL

mmmmmmmmmmmm yummy!!!

glad you are all still hanging in there

Claire - you are not boring, this forum is to help us all, you are thinking out loud, and what you are going to do at this juncture is important!
the choice is yours, driving and keeping focus will make you feel grrrrrrreat the day after,
giving in because you think you've not lost by the weighing yourself every day stakes is one option, but may not boost your confidence.
keeping on going, even when it looks dodgy is a skill to learn,if you dont do it this time, you will have plenty of chances to practice believe me.
it wont blow the whole thing, but it wont make it easier either... see what i mean.
but dont leave the decision til you get there, for me that is like deciding to eat!
whatever you do, enjoy it (either the virtuous feeling, or the meal!)
take care

Katie xx
keep on swimming
