I'm sorry i'm just fed up with everything and this has just made things worse....did anyone else have a grotty second weigh in??? Its my 2week weigh in tomorrow. How are you getting on Mumsy??? xx Started LL on 13th Aug. Lots and lots to lose!

BB, Just wanted to say i am sorry to hear about your friend....As for the diet... sometimes when we have a really good loss one week the scales don't show anything the folowing week...but we lose inches.. so why don't you get your LLC to measure you tomorrow.. however, i think you will have lost something when you get weighed.. remember some days we have more fluid retention.. so don't lose heart hunny.. just keep doing the diet.. it does work.. it's just that because it is so dractic when we don't think we have lost anything it makes us feel like throwing the towel in.. keep going you are doing really well. claire xxx

Hi BB, First of all I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. When these things happen it really makes us appreciate what we have. My CDC told me last night not to expect a great weight loss next week, maybe 2-3lbs as I'll have lost alot of the water I was retaining on week 1. She also said not to try and weigh myself every day, although easier said than done and I do. I didnt take my measurements on week 1, nor did my CDC offer to do it. Might do it now though, dont think its too late given the weight I have to lose! Hopefully if any week i stay the same but mayber lose an inch or so will keep me inpsired!!!! Chin up and keep up the good work. Gillian x

BB, well done on the weight loss a stone in 2 weeks is brilliant I am doing Cambridge Diet (the same but cheaper) I lost 13lb in my first two weeks I was really pleased but at the same time gutted I'd just missed the stone, 6 weeks on and I have lost 26lb get weighed tonight I am hoping for my 2 stone. One thing I have noticed is how much better my skin is, it must be all the water I have been drinking. I have struggled a bit the last few days but I did have a treat at the weekend, and I was warned by Claire that once you cheat its harder to get back on it, and she was right. I must learn to listen Claire hehe........ but I have been good since Tuesday and I am still determined to keep going but I am proud that I am no longer carrying the 26lb around that I was 6 weeks ago.

HIya, things are fine thanks! Although i've reached TOTM....but i've not actually bleed yet (sorry for TMI) but i have had all the pains and aches as normal...so i dont' know if i'll have a full blown peroid or not. I don't feel like i've done so well this week, i've had a couple of days of feeling really ill, once i ate a small piece of chicken breast i felt better, but it happened again the day after and that time i just choose not to eat anything. I have far too many packs left this week and my weigh is tomorrow...but i've got back on this road and i will have everything correctly today. I think my body has just been rebelling a little bit. BUT i'm the boss and i say i'm having 4 packs a day and as much water as i can possibaly get down me! Have resisted stepping on the scales this week, but nothing feels any loser, so i am not holding my breath......BUT i am also ok, if i don't lose then i know i will next week. Hope everyone else is doing ok??? Started LL on 13th Aug. Lots and lots to lose!

Hi BB, Is it tomorrow you have your next weigh in? My CDC always says not to weigh myself at home as it can vary so much on day to day, although its very tempting just to have a wee sneaky peak, and I always do! Yes I feel a difference in some of my clothes, its my shoulders I feel it the most! Main place I want to lose it from is my stomach. I was very bad after having my son (hes 2.5 yrs old now, so really no excuses!) and did no exercises to strengthen the muscles again after he was born, so my main aim is to get a flat stomach again, (its a long time since I had that!) and not feel embarassed by my size in going out running again and back to aerobics classes. It was our 10th wedding anniversary over the weekend, 10 years ago I wore a size 10 wedding dress, now I'm in size 20 jeans and 18 tops. Feel a bit angry at myself for lettings things go as much, but feel alot more positive than I did 3 weeks ago, as I'm now doing something to get my weight sorted out. Anyway, I'm keeping my chin (or chins!!) up and one day we will reach our goal --- just think how good that day will be. Are you finding it easy to stick to LL? why is LL so much more expensive than CD? You are doing so good that you havent had anything you shouldnt have.. you must have fantastic willpower. Sorry so long, but its good to talk !!!!! Gillian xx

we get counselling evrey week and also there are follow on plans for when you introduce food and also a maitnance plan, all have counselling along the way. I guess the only main difference to LL is that you have to be checked by a doc before you start and every 28days. I know with CD there are differnt plans you can follow where you eat a meal as well as the packs but on LL you must have 3 stone to lose and stay abstantant for 14 weeks, before food is even mentioned again. i personally choose LL because i have seen the results and also the CD cousellor was a load of rubbish in my area, i called 3 times before she called me back and then just said i had to go to her house at one evening in a week that i couldn't make when i asked about a differnt group she said how much do you want ot be thin? Well of course i do, but i can't hlep the fact my kids go swimming and i couldn't be in two places at once, so LL called me straight back and offered the intro meeting and a choice of meeetings and drop ins ...anyway i like what i heard and here i am! Weigh in is tonight and i'm really not expecting much, but i wouldn't change things for the world, i feel so good!! I cycled for 7 miles last night and i've just done 55mins of the advanced step class on the wii fit so i'm feeling great Lol I've gone from couch potato to exersise junkie and i'm loving it! I hope you continue to do well? ARe you doing the plan were you eat a meal once a day?? YOu see i think that takes more will power than not to eat at all, becuase i know that if i start i prob won't stop Lol SOrry for the long post! x Started LL on 13th Aug. Lots and lots to lose!
