Hi All, Hope everyone is good. Just an update, went to see CDC tonight, and I've lost another 2lbs, which is great . That means the extra pounds I gained when on holidays (plus another few!) have gone!!! Had good chat with CDC and she reckons that before Xmas I can lose at least another 2 stones. She has set me a mini target tho.. 14lbs in 4 weeks. I like these challenges, hopefully I'll make it!!! Hows everyone else doing? Its quite quiet on here these days. Gillian x

Hi everyone, just wanted to update this... Things not been too good for me, a very good friend has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, so my head has just not been in the right place for dieting. However, I have appt to see my CDC again next week and will get back with it again. Feeling a bit annoyed with myself for not sticking with it, but hey, a diet is nothing compared to the journey my friend has ahead of her. Puts things in perspective really. So hopefully will restart next Monday 17th and will just take each day as it comes. I've still been reading some of the threads when i've had a chance, everyone doing so well. Will be back on properly as of next week and will keep you all posted to how I'm doing. Gillian xx

Hi All, So far so good..!! Went to see CDC last night, got stocked up with food packs etc and started again this morning. Had my 3 soups and 3 litres of water, so feeling quite pleased with myself that day 1 has got off to a good start. I had put on 8lbs in the 5 weeks I had been off the diet, which, to be honest, I though it might have been more! CDC very positive though and says I can get most of this off in my first week then I am back to where I left off. She has given me another porridge to try, I am not keen on it, but she says she mixes it with a sprinkling of the banana shake and its much better. So worth a try. I would like to be able to eat it as the one I did try was very filling. How is everyone else getting on? ... please keep with me, any words of encouragement are always greatly received!. Gillian xx

Day 2 nearly over... and its been a good day! Tried the porridge as CDC suggested with the banana, expected to hate it ... but it was fab! So glad I'll be able to have this now as it really is much more filling than the soup. Met my friend and we walked for miles, then tonight I have spent 10 mins doing some stomach crunches, going to aim to do this as much as I can as my stomach is my big problem area. Feeling happier with myself as I am at least trying. Hope everyone else had a good day. Gillian xx

Sorry didnt get a chance to get on last night to report my weight loss... but here goes... it was an amazing.. 10lbs!!! I am so pleased, I am now back to where I left off before my 'blip!'. Any further weight loss is now going to be the lowest weight i have been for a good few years. So onwards to week 2.... lets hope its a good one. Gillian xx
