DAY 6 AND 7

Day 6 has been good, but it aint half quiet on here over the weekend, when we all need even more encouragement!! Been feeling good, but struggling a bit with the water today as been out of the house alot, at the country park, with little boy, no toilets close by!!. So I didnt drink an awful lot until I came home, by which time I had left it too late to drink the 3 litre.

DAY 7

Feeling fantastic today, have so much more energy! Plus weigh-in tonight, ...... HAVE LOST 10LBS.
I am so pleased, this is giving me the inpsiration to keep going.

Next time I'm on i'll sort myself out with a ticker, now I have my first weight loss.

Hope everyone else doing well.

Hey everyone,

Well, all had been going great with my diet until Tuesday night when I went to bed. I had a slight panic attack that I couldnt breathe, I've never had anything like this before.
Finally managed to get to sleep about 4am.

It could have been because I was anxious about my little boy going for his first day at playgoup yesterday, and its the first time me and him have been apart.

However, yesterday I felt 'strange' all day. Although I drank 3+ litres of water I felt extremely dizzy and lightheaded. So decided I should eat something. I had some grilled chicken and veg, probably had more than I should have done, but I felt so much better after it.

Today I have felt great and have been completely back on track with my 3 food packs and 3 litres of water.

Anyone else had anything like this?

Hi hun,
Hope you feel better now??? I've had a couple of bad days feeling dizzy and sick....yesterday i was very sick after my first shake and had awful stomach pains, like nothing i've ever had before.
I too had a very small piece of chicken, and did feel better for it. I didnt' feel guilty either, i felt like my body needed it.
In my second week, i had the same as what you said, dizzy and lightheaded, i think though if i look back i had done a lot on that day, and was pretty stressed....which obviously depleats your body of everthing quickly.

Not sure if any of that made sence, but you are not alone. My LLC when i asked about these things said i should drink more water...i already feel like i'm drowning!

Is it your weigh in day today???? Good luck hunnie xxx Let us know how it goes! xxx

Hi

Yeah been feeling absolutely fine last few days, so I think it was just my stomach shouting 'feed me'!

My weigh-in is on Monday, I dont think I've done that great this week though for some reason. However, any loss will be a step in the right direction.

I had some fresh fish tonight, absolutely fab, this diet really makes you appreciate food!

I made a fruits of the forest muffin last night, it wasnt too bad at all. I cant wait until Monday so I can get the bars from my CDC.

Hows everyone else getting along?

hi everyone! just been reading all your posts and its like i had written them myself!
i have been on CD for a year and a half on and off! things in my life just came up and i thought that those needed my attention first, before my waistline! however, i did weigh 21st and at 5'9 felt like a giant so went on ss with my top councellor Jem, i lost 7 stone in 7 months last year when i fist hit SS, even though i cheated like a mad woman.

all i can say is that when i came off the diet i did put on weight(eating and not exercising) but i never let myself get back up to the 21st!

well anyway, back on the diet, 3 weeks and a nealry 2 st lost woop woop! i joined the Gym in Feb, and it was the best thing i do, i exercise 4 times a week nearly and i suggest evryone does it, it tottaly changes the shape of your body!and makes you feel stronger as SS, i found makes your upper body feel weak and you can loose muscle mass as well as fat. and exercise is always a good idea!

does anyone else GYM-IT?

anyway, hope that we can all compare notes, especially how hard it is not to eat your childs dinner when they leave nealr y a full plate(what a waste!)

KEEP ON TRUCKING EVERYONE!

Hi Beverley Ann, i'm on LL, but this is simular to CD.

Its not easy the first few days, so listen to your body, if you are tired take a nap, and you might get a headache and some dizzyness...not everyone does. But i'm being honest and saying my first 3 days were hell. I was so prepared to kill for food! But i got over it, and by day four i had lots of energy, i'm now on day 22 and have lost 16lbs!!! Expect a good weight loss in your first week and then it should average it self out....don't please do not weigh yourself at home...the scales always lie!!

We are all here and a lot of peopel have done the diets before so can offer a lot more support than me, this is my first time.
I know what you mean about others being able to eat what they like and not put any weight on, BUT i promise you years of bad eating will catch them out one day, just remember that...you at least are tackeling your bad habbits now!!

What a fantastic goal to aim for, you lucky thing!! My goal is go into Jane Norman and for something to fit me without the assistant wondering why the hell i'm in there! lol

Good luck and keep on comming in here, right down your thoughts and feelings, it really helps. In my first few days, my post were very negiative, but now i'm feeling better my posts are more positive - One last thing, drink as much water as you can!
Take care! xx

Hi Beverley Anne,

Good to have you with us on our journey!!

Keep coming on here for support, I find this site is fab, and as BB suggested keep writing in, esp. on your first week as to how you are feeling etc. that really helped me. I have lost 16lbs in 2 weeks. There is no doubt the first week is hard, but who said it would be easy, and once you get into ketosis you will be feeling fab!

BB -- excellent another 2lbs -- you are doing so well.

WELL, what oh what happened to me yesterday? Woke up in the morning feeling like I was getting a cold. Then in the afternoon got a call from my little boys playgroup to go and collect him as he wasnt well. Hubby was working until 1am this morning. So it was just me, not feeling good, and my sobbing 2.5 year old. Plus its nearly totm for me, so I am very teary (which is normal for me!. Finally managed to get lo tucked into bed much later then normal ... then I headed to the biccy tin .. ate half a packet of milk choccy M&S digestives (yummy!) without even realising. THEN ate a milky way. After an hour or so, I felt sick.. well no wonder, how greedy was I?!
BUT.. did it stop there? No! I then proceeded to eat some Pringles. By the time I went to bed I felt so bad and disgusted at myself. What happened to me???

However, I woke up this morning feeling so guilty, however, my cold was gone. Little boy got up so much better than we was yday. So here I am, completely back on track and been great today having my 3 packs and 3 litres water. I dont expect any weight loss this week now, but at least I am back on the plan again.

Sorry if this is long, just wanted to let it out and share my story with you all!!!

Gillian x
