No vicky ur not too late, everyones kind words kept me goin yesterday, especially sam, so i managed not to fall off the wagon! Been really busy all morning so not had time to think about food (well i still thought about it, just couldnt get my hands on it while dealing with customers!) Just had my first pack of the day...chicken soup! Not had that in ages! i rammed it down my throat like i was gonna die! Ur so right about the deamons in my head!Theyre always there talking away to me! Its good to feel like im not the only one! Weighed in this morning and got to 10st 6! and that made me feel better! I just want to be 9 and a half and be a proper size 12!!! (will i ever be happy?) U keep going like u said its about finding that positive place in your head! I use to get through by saying to myself what do i want more that piece of food or to be thin...and if i eat that piece of food will i feel better afterwards... no ill feel worse i feel guilty, fat and crap! And that use to keep me on the staright and narrow! and i found the meetings really important for the support!x

Glad you got through day 1. You sound very positive today. I've just spent my lunch hour reading someones thread from the beginning as it has been very quiet on here.

Couldn't go in the works kitchen, they deciced to have chips today, so thought I'm better off at my desk.

Whats the chicken soup like. I tried most of the other soups but found them horrible so never tried the chicken. I found they all had a horrible froth on the top. Yuk.

Just think how much better u feel not eating the chips! The chicken soup was ok, i think it tasted like the mushroom one (not that id really know cause i hate mushrooms and never tried the l.l mushroom soup!)

So how u doin today?

I was ok until 5 minutes ago. I'm in work and the lads in marketing just showed me there new idea of having chocolates with our company name on. Yes you guessed it. I totally forgot I was on a diet and eat it.

Gutted. didn't know what to do with myself so logged on here.

If only the brain and the mouth would talk to each other.

Oh well. Won't let that spoil it for me, maybe I'll go to the gym tonight.

yes gym sounds gud. Ive thought about joing one myself, but everytime i do i end up paying and not going!

Days going good, been really busy so that takes my mind off food (well slightly).

I'm the worst person to talk to about gyms. I pay £55 a month and since xmas I've been about 10 times. I used to go on a daily basis, but i don't find I have the energy on this diet.

I called them yesterday to cancel my membership, but I have to give 3 months notice, They also offered my personall training sessions to get me motivated to going more often. Think I'll use those and still cancel, they've had their moneys worth out of me.

I'm an IT manager for a book company. We sell textbooks - or any other kind of books to schools. Not many can say this but I do love it. There are bad days like any but not very many. Also I get the opotunity to work form home. Thats always a plus.

How long have you had your shop?

i opened my doors on jan 2nd! i did it after the trouble i had trying to find a wedding dress, and the way i felt they treated me i wanted to offer a better service!

An example would be when i was in one shop a "national company" they told me i couldnt try on the dreseses i liked, and she chose sum instead. I asked if that was because i was fat no she said its beacause i was small in height, oh how i laufd! i told her not to worry about the dress suiting me as i planned to lose alot of weight, to which she replied in a patronising manor "of course u will ducky a few pounds" i said no i plan to lose 6 - 7 stone! She lukd at me with a real smirk on her face. She askd how and i explained l.l, she then went on to offer me a piece of advice, as follows.... "If you do lose the wieght you say your gonna lose, ur gonna be left with alot of xcess skin on ur wedding day"!!!!!

How rude i couldnt get out quick enough, it just made want to goon the biggest food binge ever! I would not speak to my worst enemy like that!

So after 2 years strugling to find a dress, with sales staff that were actually nice and not up their own arse, i decieded to open up my own shop, and treat people with respect they deserve, and here i am now. So thats my job story!... sorry for the long tale!

That's horrible, I must admit that in the last year, the people in bridal shops have made me the most unhappy. One woman shouted at me for taking a dress off the rails. Theres no way she was getting any of my money so I was off.

It least, as you know how it feels you will be getting the reputation of being the nicest bridal shop around. You'll soon be taking business from all the others around.

Having worked in a florists myself i can appreciate the hard work that goes into the flower arrangements too. Gorgeous frocks, I want to get married again just so I can try on dresses!!!!!! I'm sooooo looking forward to Septemeber and trying mine on again now, I'm not getting it down from the loft until the day I decide to try it though!

Hows day 3 going? It's one of the hardest, so hang on in there.

I felt a bit ropey this morning, but Feel full of the joys of spring thisavo. The scales have finally moved. Won't count my chickens as I still have to get through the weekend. (my worst time for wanting to cheat) But hay, the sun is shining and I'm a few pound lighter than I was yesterday. Think I'll take my little girl to the park later.

No sam i didnt have her deisgn for my dress as i didnt see her designs till after my wedding wish i had though would have proablly had the pinkish one off my website! Theres so many beautifull dresses out there its hard to chose, but i was limited to what i culd try unfortunatley!

well done on your weight loss, keep going and focused! Remember its Only 3 months till ur big day!!!and it will be hear b4 u know it! trust me it flies by.

Confession time.. fell off the wagon last nite and binged!...am i allow to say that on here? dont want to be negative! Got straight back on it today, just had a soup! feel much more positive! Think im gonna start w.w nxt wk, not been to an actual meeting in about 3 years, hear theyve got a new plan out aswell! So something new to try as ive tried every diet or slimming pill on the planet!
