Couple of things you can do. Take Fibre89 or some other type of fibre regularly. Drink sparkling water regularly. If you are really bunged up for now you should take Dulcolat etc. or some glycerine suppositories.

ok, here's my story on it, i hadn't been for over 2 weeks, and whatever i'd take wouldn't help. i even had fibre89 (CD's thingibob) regularly but nothing helped. then mum comes along and gives me the perfect method and i gushed it all out (don't picture that lol).
go to your pharmacist, buy the original version (no funky flavours) of Fybogel. forget what the labels say just take a good 2 massive table spoons of it in a glass with enough water to just make it runny enough to drink (if you mix a whole glass full of it you'll feel too bloated and might not be able to take it all in). Drink it as soon as the water is mixed in it. don't let it settle in coz it bloats up. once that is all in you, get a hot drink. you MUST have something hot in you straight after or it wouldn't work. once all that is done, watch it work like magic []
p.s. the best hot drink anyone can have is green tea with a couple of canderal tablets. green tea actually helps you lose weight, and that's scientifically proven and i'm a firm believer coz my brother drinks at least 3 massive mugs of it a day and he's gone from a football shape to model material, no exaggeration! obviously he didn't manage that on just on green tea, he worked out at the gym too but he still eats enough food and all of it. oh and above all, sweetened green tea tastes delicious too... Green Tea raises your metabolism ! Loads of studies on it and apparently has excellent anti-cancer properties. I always enjoyed the mixed green and black blend that Twinings did.
