I know I shouldn't use sugar-free gum, but what can I use to help my 'ketosis breath'?
Firstly, clean you teeth more regularly to freshen your mouth.
Use mouthwash.
Use a mouth-refresher spray - there are several available from chemist shops and these can be very effective.
"Brushaways" - these are pads impregnated with toothpaste that fit over your finger for an emergency teeth clean.
Disposable toothpaste-impregnated brushes are also available - usually at service stations or airports.
Chewing gum is not generally advised, as it can stimulate the gastric juices and make you feel hungry. If desperate, chew a very small piece of sugar-free gum for two or three minutes.
