I sat last night and cried with frustration as I have only lost 7 lbs in 10 days on CD SS.
I am now watching Channel 5's Extraordinary People about a woman called Mandy with "Giant legs". Her outlook is amazing and she seems to have not one ounce of self pity. Quite an amazing lady
Me thinks I need to get a grip and realise just how lucky I am. My BMI tells me that I am 25 lbs overweight - which is probably not the truth of it as I am quite sporty - I'm 5 ft 7 and a size 14. WTF am I whinging about? Don't get me wrong, I want to lose weight but why the hell am I beating myself up for being grotesquely overweight?
Why is it that we don't appreciate what we have - I have my health, a roof over my head and great family and friends - including a great bunch of cyberfriends!!
Ah ails, it is only nature that makes us want more...don't be hard on yourself.. we all know we have lots to be grateful for, but it's not always enough is it?.. but you're right sometimes it is neccessary to take a step back and put it in perspective...The important thing is to keep trying to acheive our goals and not give up...and BTW 7lbs in 10 days is excellent madam claire xx
