Well helllooooo everyone

I'm back again. Managed to put on a stone in 4.5 months thanks to one thing or another. Going on holiday last week did not help.

Got some packs left so working through them this week and will see my counsellor on Saturday to get some more.

I tried to start yesterday but ended up going out for lunch with hubby and kids so here I am today trying to distract myself.

Wish me luck, I am upset that I have gained so much and it really show.

Hi Flumpy, looking at your ticker you have done really well previously and you know what to do. I know you'll do well this time! Just keep us informed of your progress and if you need any help we are here Big Grin.

I restart tomorrow (was last on it 1 1/2 years ago) and have put on 1 1/2 stone since the last time. I know where I went wrong last time as I didn't do the maintenance but I am stronger now and more determined.

Come on, we can do it (Oh dear, I sound american!)lol Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Hi Hev

Just re-adjusted my ticker to show where I am now with BMI of 28+ Eeker

I am hoping that I can lose two stones, the stone that I put back on and the stone that I failed to lose last time I was on the diet.

Life gets in the way for me as there are lot so meals, lunches and drinks at work. I really need to keep strong to avoid all this.

Usually only takes me 2 days to get into ketosis so am hoping to be well on my way by Wednesday morning.

Good luck, we can do it together.

Hi Flumpy, I am at uni and have to do my placement in the operating theatres in hospital which is where I am going to struggle drinking all the water but I am at uni 2 days this week and off next week hence why I am starting tomorrow. I know it will give me a kick start - just hope my counsellor will give me 2 tetra briks for my 2 days in uni as I don't want to be mixing shakes anywhere! Can't remember if you're allowed them in your first week!

When I last did CD I was working nights and found it easy to mix shakes and drink water but when I am on my placement I will be at the operating table scrubbed in so if I need an urgent wee - tough!! Red Face All I can do is try Big Grin

Hi Flumpy, how are you?!! Big Grin
you will lose that weight in no time and I know what you mean about food beng around all the time like with you it's work, with me it's alicia, se still needs her brakfast lunch and tea doesnt she and I very guiltyily admit to finishing the leftovers more often than not Roll Eyes

Hopefully starting weightwatchers tomorrow,i'll be the joy of the group got to take little one with me.lol

Hi to Hev, you both can do it, and hugs at being at uni and trying CD at the same time. Ive just finished my 2nd year and was totally exhausted, hence why i havent tried CD yet as its expensive and dont think i could do that as well as uni and having a kid hence why i admire all you CDers Cool

Keep it up girls your going to do great and if you have any questions about doing CD there are plenty of people on here that mght be able to help you and I will bump the CD Counsellor thread upa s she is often around to answer CD Questions too.

Ems x

Hia

Well I got through day 1 just fine and when I hopped on the scales this morning I had lost 3 pounds. YIPPEE.

Found it very hard yesterday though, I can't lie. Today I feel very anxious and I can remember feeling like this before and it passed once I was in ketosis. It usually only takes me 2 days so I am hoping I will be fine by tomorrow.

Ems, I have 2 little ones aged 4 and 11 months. Their food doesn't bother me that much I must admit, it is the red red wine that gets me every time.

Day 3

Well have got through day 3 easy enough. Must be in ketosis. Have a bit of a headache but just taken two paracetamol.

The anxious feeling from yesterday morning has gone and I lost another 1.5 pounds today. I know I shouldn't weigh myself everyday but can't help it.

Good luck everyone

Day 4

Well into ketosis by now and feeling happy enough. Am 5.5lbs down and raring to go.

Have got a business trip to manchester coming up and also my 5th wedding anniversary and thinking about tackling both of these whilst on SS is troubling me.

My baby's 1st birthday party is spurring me on as I want to look nice at that.

Taking it one day at a time at the moment.

Day 6

had a fabulous sleeo last night. Literally slept like a log.

Looking forward to seeing my consellor today. I wonder if she will let me have bars?

Am sooo pleased to be 6.5 pounds down already. If I can drop another 0.5 pounds for Monday I would have lost 7 in my first week which is fantastic.

Am feeling confident that I will be where I want to be for Lottie's 1st birthday.

YAY.
