I get it when (on the odd occasion) I drink a lot more water than usual & have my last pack to late at night before bed - otherwise I'm ok.

I think it maybe because I am not eating to overide the heartburn and notice it more! Am off to bed as this is my 1st whole day of sole source without ballsing it up.

I think you will find after you lose a bit of weight it stop. I saw my doctor about mine before I started the diet and he said that indigestion was common in obese people due to a hernia caused by the weight (I forget the technical term!) M.

Yep folks, I'm one of the heartburn people. it was brilliant for the first two weeks, then every time I had a bar it started. So as of tomorrow , no more bars for me. I have GORD and hiatus hernia. The hiatus hernia is due to weight, the GORD is congenital so I have to live on zantac. Never mind, if the Hiatus hernia goes away it will be sooooo much better.

Yes I used to get heartburn on CD - I did say to hubby how the heck can I get heartburn when I am not eating lol. I find that drinking peppermint tea helps. Di

Yep! Big stylee! However, another of my LL group and I think we've cracked our problem. For us it is going too long between Foodpacks. My other half reckons that there may be some sense in that. He reckons the gastric juices get all fired up for something to work on (ok, albeit soup or shake) and get over enthusiastic when it doesn't happen. I take a small slug of Aniseed Gaviscon and that does the tirck.
