Right so day one of my Body Doctor challenge has gone really well. I did a 90 min workout this morning, cardio and resistance training hurt like a be-atch doing the leg work but hey ho, gotta suffer to look good I guess. Then I went and did 2 hours digging in the garden, heaving wheelbarrow fulls of stuff about and lots of lunging and leaning puttin seeds in. all in all it is fair to say my body knows its done some graft today.

The menu looked like this:

Banana, blueberries and strawberries with a prune activia yogurt.

2 boiled eggs, green salad, home made coleslaw.

home made Thai chicken curry with rice and green beans.

Babybel light with an oatcake.

Right then, thats me accounted for... what about you lots????

I like the idea of a muffin diet.... but I'm not subscribing to that one today!! lol

Today I've done 20 mins on the Lateral thigh Trainer and about 20 mins on my pole. The diet has been this;

4 oatcakes with quark and marmite, an apple

green salad with Weight Watcher tuna mayo, another apple! 2 activia yogurts

4 slices of ham, green salad, last of the home made coleslaw, 2 oatcakes and a babybel.

2 kiwi fruit and a banana.

It must be warmer, how else can I survive on 2 salads in one day????????

So there we go..... healthy eating and exercise.. who'd have thought it works eh????

Oh and Jax... yes, lotions, potions, waxing , shaving, fake tan.... uh huh... you got me!

Will be joining you in the salad wars tomorrow Vikki, the naughty little muffin just jumped right on in there Confused. Got myself some grapefruits today for a nice healthy brekki too, just wish i could find the energy for the exercise, but i suppose an hour with the dogs every morning means at least i am doing something, and i must burn up some calories with the amount of damn housework i do trying to keep it up to scratch incase we get any buyers round.

an hours walk every day is great though... you can up the pace a bit and make the most of it! I love grapefruit for breakfast... but grilled with a sprinkling of brown sugar, which sort of defeats the purpose lol!

I have most definately upped the pace Vikki, but unfortunately i still have to go careful in everything i do cause otherwise i put my back out, i did it the other day walking the dogs which means i cant do much for a couple of days, really stupid, it just goes when i walk sometimes.

Tim reckons if we get this pub in Rotherham there is basement room big enough to take a treadmill, so i am hoping we will get one, that way i can work up my pace and maybe even run one day as long as i build up gently. Mind you we have to get the pub first.
