Blimey there's a blast from the past! I definitely remember you, you kept coming and going and we'd drag you back but then you went completely. So sorry to hear bout the wedding that wasnt....everything for a reason though hey, get the new improved you back on the market and who knows what life will bring!

Us Gobshites are are still here, trying every diet known to man and always returning to CD! I gained a couple of the 4+ stone I lost back so started again last week, finding it relatively easy for some reason....lets see how long that lasts eh Roll Eyes

Anyhow, not got loads of time right now, need to catch up on a few threads and see if Karen (Oldmummy) is back with us yet, she just moved house (to a pub YAY Big Grin) and has been offline and I may need my backside kicking soon.

Welcome back

Hi everyone thanks for replying
Well, a few weeks since I posted and the loss has gone down to about 3 a week- its torturously slow bearing in mind have nt cheated and am going to the gym most days!! Have also taken up surfing- me in a wet suit!!!! that fits!!!- which is really good excercise judging from the pain I feel in my muscles afterwards haha
But still just 2/3 lbs a week. I would be over the moon if I could get a big loss like in the old days- I d be happy with 5 or 6 but I think that I need to get real- I weigh less now so I will lose it more slowly...its hard keeping up the motivation as I can see I am thinner- and have reached all the mini goals I set myself at the start.
Most of the girls in my group have gone on to maintenance or have fallen off the wagon and are struggling to get back on. I m not sure how much longer I am going to last on this but I m keeping going as I would feel that I have failed if i did nt get to a 7stone loss. When I think like that I then start thinking maybe I should go for an 8 or 9 stone loss as I have never been truely thin. I ve still got wobbly bits- although smaller and much more manageable but I m no Bo Derek in my swimming costume.
I m probably just stringing out the agony and just need to get back into the zone- stop pondering so much and just get on with it. May be there will be a bolt of lightening that hits me and says - "today you are going to management- you are actually happy with yourself!" or may be I ll just think b*ll*cks I ve had enough.
Who knows- will keep you posted...
ps am 2lbs off 6stone now

Your doing fab Fiona well done, nearly 6 stone off already and just think every week is just a bit closer to your final goal. I know it does start to get you down when the losses are less but as you said, you dont need to loose so much and surely 2 down in a week is so much better than 2 on. Its not gonna take you long at all to be where you are happy with yourself and feel the time is right for maintenance. Anyway just wanted to say your doing great and keep at it.
