Hello everyone, I haven't started on LL yet but, I do have an appointment to see the counsellor on Sunday. I am very curious to know what a daily menu will be! I have read through a few messages from lots of people and get the impression its something like 3 milkshakes a day or 3 snack-like bars or a mixture of both. If that is the case-how on earth are you all managing on that and what should I expect for the first few days i.e. headaches, etc.? Sorry if you have all explained this before but, I want to be prepared for the worst!!Lol !
Regards Jax

you have just about covered everything!!! joking aside the first week is the hardest you can suffer from nausea, headaches etc but they soon pass. as for the 3 food packs you are spot on for the first week you are only allowed the shakes and soups. (you can turn these into muffins, cookies & smoothies too by just adding a little water, ice etc) from the second week you are allowed to substitute one pack for a bar. The reason we are all doing this diet is its a last resort diet, most of us have tried everything else.. hope this helps, Hugs Stacey x

Thanx Ladylew, so it is as bad as I had expected! At least I am forwarned. Have read messages from various pages and there is some very good advice for a 'beginner'-I have already started to try and drink loads of water and have been on milkshakes for the past 2 days, bought from Tesco-I am sure they are not as nutritionaly balanced as the LL ones but, I want to get into the habit of less food-I am so eager to get started-the weight losses are inspirational and I want to be able to prove to myself that I can take control.Roll on Sunday when I see the counsellor! aLL i have to do then is persuade my doctor that I am doing the right thing-spoke to him this morning and he isn't keen on me doing it-he said I need to be aware of all the side effects-which is fair comment but,I thought he would be a bit more supportive. Hope to be a 'proper'member very soon! Cheers Jax
