Right, my rice is nearly done and I have a nice 2 hour stewed chilli to eat with a lovely chilled glass of chardonnay! HEY! I had 2 hours of Welsh exams today..I worked hard!!!!!!

Karen...I was being very polite saying COW! You are so right FR has alot to answer for! I sometimes wish I'd never registered on there. Its landed some people in loads of trouble. I know of 3 relationships that have broken up because people found old loves on FR!

Have to say i enjoyed a tipple or two of my own last night at BBQ, first one in new house. Prefer the red stuff tho. Dont usually drink at all, but think i deserved it and god knows what state i will be in next week at the Rugby with tickets to the private beer tent, think i could suffer!!!!

Well had my first night in the new house on my own last night (kids here of course). Tim back at work today so he had to leave last night. Woken up to lovely sunshine and the thought that its my birthday today, sat here with a cup of coffee and a dog that doesnt care less, kids are still asleep, perhaps they thought they would give mummy a lie in on her birthday,unfortunately I have been awake since 5.30, so that didnt work. Not doing anything special today, although going to mums this afternoon and as Molly and Dylan keep telling me i have a surprise this afternoon involving cake and cards, i take it there will be a little celebrating going on. My birthday treat is on Friday with Mamamia in London so will have to wait until then. Hope you all have a good day and lets hope this wonderful weather continues. Karenxx

Thanks guys, actually 41 today, feeling a tad old i have to say, the OLD MUMMY name is very apt at the moment. All morning the kids were telling me its a surprise and they cant tell me til this afternoon, although Molly doesnt understand why mummy didnt get presents this morning, my pressie is the trip to London at the weekend.

Julie, the kids are 4 on 23rd May, i know its so exciting about going to school in September, part of me cant wait, but the other part is really nervous for them (and me). Suppose i will have to start thinking about getting a part time job then, thats scary too as i gave up work 9 months before my last IVF treatment, so going back after 6 years is a bit scary. Not sure if i will be looking while living here, will have to see at what point the house gets finished and on the market. Anyway, the sun is shining and we are going on a lovely walk in the forest this afternoon, hoping to catch some tadpoles to bring home (dont i just know how to live it up!!). Karenxx

Ahh tadpoles! love em! I have 3...one for each kid sitting in the kirchen at the moment. Will have to transfer them to a different pot later this week I think as they are growing like mad and you can see the legs about to sprout! Great fun.
41 isn't old Karen! I didn't realise your two we're IVF babies. I think the whole IVF thing is amazing. My only nephew was born through IVF, sadly I don't see much of him since my brother & his wife split, he lives in Yorkshire. But my brothers girlfriend is expecting this November coming so I hope I get to see this niece/nephew! Although she's from Estonia and wants to go back and live there sop who knows!
Hope you have a lovely walk in the woods. Great day for getting out and about! I've already been out trimming the hedge!
