God i hate this feeling, i feel like i have just dumped the kids at school. Their first day in their new school and it was hayhem, not one of the teachers spoke to us or showed the kids what they were supposed to be doing, i just had to leave them sat on the floor with the other kids.....now i feel so bad and worried. Bless them they didnt get upset, i knew i would be worse than them, but didnt expect to feel quite like this. I spent the last 5 weeks waiting for school to restart and now it has i want them home........how pathetic does that make me.

Anyway to all those with their kids going back to school today, have a nice relaxing day....god you have earned it Big Grin

That's the good thing about them being twins - they don't have to go through it alone - they have each other Wink

Yeah sorry i havent been around, worked every day and night for the past week, staffing probs so not alot we could do about it, am totally knackered now. Things seems to have settled a bit on the school front, altho Dylan says he doesnt like it cause its boring......well i cant really argue with that can i. I am hoping to not work tonight, but once again i suppose it depends how busy it gets down there.

Hi Karen,

Hope you manage to sort you staff out and grab yourself some serious me time, sounds like you need it.

Glad the twins are settling in ok, even if Dylan is bored! Can't believe Alex is now a sixformer! And Matt has started his GCSE optionf, all arty farty subjects so he's a bit happier. Nearly died of shock when I got up this morning and found him sat at his desk doing homework Eeker Ok it was artwork but even so...

Harry seems ok, has accepted the fact that he has two teachers again (so many job shares) and that they are both dragons.

Chill out, catch you later.

Hi ladies, well i suppose its about time i updated my own thread, been a bit naughty about doing that lately. All is ok in pub land, had a couple of major busy days/nights this week what with the england match on wednesday and then 2 other matches at the weekend ( i say "other matches" cause i have no interest and dont give a flip who is actually playing)...ooops better not let the customers hear that.

Anyway its been a bit up and down personally over the past week. Dylan was poorly last sunday and when the doc called he examined him and informed me that he has a heart murmer, now i am fully aware that alot of kids get them and i am not in panic mode, but after taking him to the gp, he is being sent for an echocardiogram (or whatever its called). On top of that Molly failed her 4th hearing test in both ears, so looks like a hospital visit for her as well at some point.....so a bit of a crap week really. No time to sit and dwell tho, still dont have enough hours in the day and we are both knackered to say the least, but not doom and gloom cause although its hard work we are really enjoying it and thats what its all about.

Afraid no time to think about diets, or even any time to think about food and my scales have gone t*ts up so have no idea where i am with the weight, but i do know i am back in all my smaller clothes again, still not the skinny min i was, but neither am i complete heffer anymore Big Grin

Right, enough of my life story, hope you are all ok and i cant apologise enough for not being around like i used to, i do get to read everyday but not always post and i miss our chats. xx
