Well that didnt go as bad as i expected, infact CDC was pretty supportive and said i had done well not to put more than 3lb on in a week. Now down to business, 6lb away from that 2 stone mark and i want to get there in next 2 weeks if possible.........so bring it on!!!!

Feeling very positive and back on it from this morning, need to get glugging that water. Feel very calm with myself and happy to be back on it again (still enjoyed my little naughty bit last night though). Karenxx

Week 1 - 9lb
Week 2 - 3lb = 12lb
Week 3 - 4lb = 16lb
Week 4 - 1lb = 17lb
Week 5 - 3lb = 20lb
Week 6 - 5lb = 25lb
Week 7 + 3lb = 22lb Had week off diet

Hi Karen,

Glad your back on CD, I must say that for me there is no better diet. Ive never been able to shift more than a stone on any other diet & now look, I'm 7st 9lb lighter in just 6 months. CD Rules!!

3lb gain is not to bad but be prepared you might have a rough few days because you ate last night, your body will crave food so be strong, drink plenty of water and dont give in to the cravings. Its hard I know coz I fell off the wagon when I was on holiday in Oct but got straight back on when I got home.

Just remember we're all here for you & good luck Smiler

Take Care

Thanks for the support Karen, this could get confusing both having the same name!! I am quite prepared to feel hungry today, but not too bad at the moment and to be honest have learnt something about myself in the last few days, never been this determined before to loose weight and want to do it FOR ME. I wont be happy until i get to where i feel totally great. You have just done fantastic with your loss, you must feel sooooo good. Karenxx

I do feel great and like you said you are deternmined to do this for you, im determined to do this for me to!

I find that the cravings are probably worse day 3 & 4 after a cheat, just dont give into them coz it then gets to a vicious circle all the time and thats when you have problems getting back on the diet again.

Im sure you will be fine though and get through it and just think of how proud your hubby is gonna be of you when he gets back Smiler

Keep us posted anyway.

Take Care,
Karen x

Mind if I join you?

Slimfast not good - too many carbs and v v hungry!!!

Spoke to the Cambridge nurse today to see if she had any suggestions and she thinks the problem could be constipation with .... brace yourselves.... leakage from around the blockage. (Hence why I thought it was the trots) Nice!!! Lucky no-one's having their tea eh?!!??

So the immodium was probably making matters worse not better!!!

Went straight to my CDC after work, got new supply , round to boots for fybogel and ready to rock n roll tomorrow.

Please, please let this work!!!!!!!

Sorry to gross you all out.

Long story short, I'm (hopefully) back on the SS journey with you!!!!

Hiya

Julie - too right head in total CD gear!!!! I will succeed!!! (as will we all) You're like my Yoda or something!!! When are you going for your CD training girl??!!

Karen - cool, it's always nice to have a friend to share journeys with - we'll spur each other on, I'm sure!!!

Boy, am I gonna hurt tomorrow. Just did a step/sculpt class and it was so much fun I may have over done it without realising. Best kind of class tho!! Definately going to that one next week!!!

I have made another decision. Am not gonna become a hermit whilst doing SS this time. I'm gonna have a little bit more faith in myself and trust my resolve instead of hiding in the bath or my bedroom. Life's for living and although I didn't mention it on here I was sooooo upset at hiding away - I felt very lonely. I know I am never alone with you lot, but I know you'll understand where I'm coming from.

Definately gonna keep up my routine of going to the gym daily. Probably do the step as loved it - but other than than will do the gentle classes such as pilates and body balance (well gentle in the fact that you're not leaping about - but tough control wise!!)

Hi All

go Ails, go Karen!!
Ails, FANTASTIC, no hiding, and see how you go, for sustainable change, we have to live as normally as we can while making enough changes to make a difference to us without putting what we love on hold.
hiding will not lead to us learning how to manage our weight in the long run. Go out there and do your stuff, have fun, stay with your buddies, friends, family etc but learn how to control our weight!!
It will be sooooooo worth it in the end

sorry for the preach

just been to de Gym, devised a program of weights and resistance work, with a little cardio, but not too much to start off with.
will see how it goes.
feeling quite relaxed and happy, not so frustrated today (magic!)
Survived day 1 of 790.
so far, it has been fine!!, better than fine!! quite nice really.
will see how it pans out.
see y'all later

Hi All, well the start of day 2, i found yesterday very easy it has to be said. Problem is i woke up this morning with a stinking cold and thick head (wish it had been due to alcohol). Se feeling really quite rubbish today, luckily i dont feel hungry at all, so thats a bonus i suppose. I dont have time to feel sorry for myself or be ill for that matter, no one else here to look after the kids, so mummy doesnt get to wollow in her cold.

Good Luck for your first day back on Ails. Your right about not locking yourself away, get out there and enjoy life, whats the point of this journey if you dont. I know what you mean about feeling lonely, since OH been away i dont have any social life at all, especially evenings when they are tucked up in bed, it can get lonely.

Julie - Thanks for your support, CDC in the making!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katie - Another one that talks alot of sense, if we are all so sensible, how did any of us ever get to this situation? Good to have everyones support and of course if i can support anyone else more the better. How old is your daughter? Was reading other thread that she can be a little wotsit, but cant they all. Hope your talk with Health Visitor helped you out.

Well girls, onwards and downwards and all have a good day. Karenxx Wink Wink Wink

Katie - that's not preaching - it's fact!!

Karen - Hope you're feeling better soon!!!

Julie - glad you're having a good day.

Thanks to you all for your encouragement and support.

Well day one has been fine. Hope it continues like this but it's usually day 3-4 that tummy probs start. Let's hope the Cambridge nurse has sussed it!

I've just had my Oriental soup (yum) followed by my orange flavoured fybogel (keep trying to convince myself it's a yummy orange drink) and it has to be said I'm absolutely stuffed!!! So, not only could it clear up my tummy but it stops hunger!!!

Have been to gym and done a body pump class and a body balance class. Gonna retire to the bath soon - not hiding, just soaking my poor muscles in a bit of radox - prevention being better than cure and all that. I really enjoyed the classes tho - think I might be a bit of a masochist!!!

Thanks Ails, still feeing pretty dreadful, but never mind. Hope your next few days goes ok without tummy probs, if you get through the first week then you know she hit the nail on the head with her diagnosis.

Hope your enjoyed your bath, i bet your muscles needed that after all those exercises, wish i had the time and energy to do something like that for myself, perhaps when OH gets home i can get myself swimming again.

Keep Glugging. Karenxx
