Hi Karen, it is an uncertain time for both of you.. but hopefully it won't be long now... did you hear anymore about which pubs were a management option for you? You are being very secretive about what diet you are following but it seems to be working ....any tips would ber gratefully received...I am not following any diet at the moment.. trying to be sensible until i am feeling normal again.. i have a killer headache today....must drink some more water....
Take care

Hi Claire, no more info on the pub thing as yet, Tim starts 6 weeks leave tomorrow so we can get our heads together, get some applications in and the licence he needs, also need to work on his CV so thats is geared more towards pubs than army. Also means he can finish the work on the house before anyone comes to see it (fingers crossed) and we can go look at some, really difficult when we dont know whats happening tho. Just taking one day at a time in everything at the moment. Karenxx

i think taking one step at a time is a sensible approach.. at least you can be semi prepared depending on which way the wind blows..it will be nice to have tim home for a few weeks as well i expect...get him decorating while you pamper yourself...

Big Grin I intend booking myself in for a massage at some point, i flippin deserve it. He hasnt got any decorating left to do, i have done the whole house. He just has to finish the wooden floor in the conservatory and sort the fire place out, everything else is done. It will be nice him being home for half term, means we can have some nice days out with the kids, the whole of the summer hols was spent with us doing stuff to the house, so they missed out, time to make it up to them. He missed their first day at school too, so at least he will be here for their first full day on the 29th. Karenxx

Yeah there is a really nice farm about an hour away which we took them to last year and they loved it, so probably go there again, we also have a local owl and otter sanctuary, perhaps might even take a trip to swanage, i loved it there as a kid and they were too young to remember it last time they went. We are lucky as there are loads of local places which arent too expensive. I know they will love having him home, but he will probably drive me nuts after a while as i have been used to being on my own all week and just having him home at weekends Big Grin. Karenxx

You do get used to your own company don't you? My advice is to lay down the ground rules regarding remote control abuse straight away.. that way you all know where you stand Wink Big Grin
