For those of you who already know me you know how difficult I have found these last few weeks on CD.
I do really want to do this diet as I know it works for me. I just need to get my head in gear as I have done it well once and lost 26lbs - I need to get to that place once again and I need you to help me with my motivation! (I know you all will!!!)
I have a party on October 27th (only 13 days) and I would like to lose at least 8lbs for then. I am also turning 34 on December 5th and I would like to have lost at least a further 21lbs for then - I know this is achieveable if I stick to it!
I am restarting CD again tomorrow and on the wonderful and very helpful advice of BigDee I am gonna try and do the 790 plan for those 13 days.
So ....... WISH ME LUCK - I start tomorrow Sunday 15th October - Its gonna be a bumpy ride!!!!!
Good luck to all!

Go for it Julie, you know you can do it, you have proved that already. I know its hard getting your head in the right place, i think everyone of us can relate to that, even those of us that are doing it for the first time. Focus on those events coming up, mark them on a calendar maybe and count down to them or write yourself a positive message and put in on the fridge so you see it everytime you feel the urge for food. GO GIRL. Sending you good thoughts. Karen x

Your head seems to be in the right place just now, think the 790 option may be a good idea to get you back into it slowly. You'll just have to remind yourself why you want to do it in the first place and stay on track.
Good luck for tomorrow.

I agree with oldmummy, you already know what you can achieve so there's nothing to stop you from doing it again and succeeding. I've got my mums suprise birthday party on 18 November, i've circled that date in the calender and am crossing off each day as i've passed it. It definately is giving me something to aim too and has nice to see how far i've come already.
Good luck Julie

good on you Julie. I was a sad person when I was dieting and made myself a graph so I could plot my weight each week, a little chart to record my measurements each week and a spread sheet with 100 boxes that I crossed off each day. It helped me to focus and I saw light at the end of the tunnel. I take it out and look at it every now and then and think about how far I have come. maybe you could try something like that Julie, and keep a journal.
ps I am proud of you sticking with it.

Like you I need to refocus, and I also have some party dates approaching as an incentive; November 4th and November 24th, two weekend's away with big party nights. One involves stripping down to swimwear and drinking champagne in a jacuzzi, eeek!
What can we do to make sure this time is different?
Doing it together will certainly help, I shall follow your progress intently!
Congratulations on getting started, keep up the good work
