Hi guys

Just a quickie as off to bed now - but wanted to share I had my WI tonight. Its 2 weeks since my last one as was away for Easter but had a really nice surprise on the scales....
Two weeks and I've lost 9lbs!!! - thats great for me as my losses are normally about 3lb per week lately - but the best bit - I'm now in the 14s. Woohoo.

So I'm about halfway to where I want to be - nearly 4 stone gone, and 4 to go....[Big Grin][Big Grin][Big Grin][Big Grin][Big Grin][Big Grin]

Morning WEMITT's

Haven't been around too much this week as its been extremely busy and quite draining due to a family death on Easter Sunday - the funeral was yesterday![Frowner]

It was such a sad time as it was so close to having lost my Dad only 7 months ago...anyhow, emotionally I got through it but I did eat at the "reception"! However, this morning I'm back on and like Anja says it is not Day 1 again it is still Day 4!![Smiler]

Have got a group this morning which I'm really looking forward to .. so will check in a bit later!

Keep going WEMITT's .... because we really do Mean It This Time!![Big Grin]

Hi all WeMITT'S

Hi Sal, sorry it's a couple of days but I totally agree with everyone, if you can't get the support you need from your LLC move on. my thoughts will be with you on monday for your assesment.

Hi Harri, I was sorry to hear about the reaction you got at work, please remember that at the end of the day they don't matter this is for you and only you.

Hi Kandy, the only thing that keeps me from food is that i hate the bad feelings I get, why do I do somthing to myself that i torture myself for afterwards but hay if we always did the sensible thing would any of yus be here in the first place!

I think you OH was right your so called friend was jealous, you've taken the limelight away from her, but that is here problem not yours. Now she's shown her true colours don't have anything more to do with her.

Keep going Sadge, I agree with Ann,ignore your scales at home trust your weekly WI's and your clothes size.

Congrats Julie, it's a great feeling to be half way[Big Grin][Big Grin]

Hi Diva, sorry about your loss, take care.

Hi Ann, I'll send you an email to order a t shirt and I am interseted in the Inca trail.

Mrs T, my thoughts are with you.

Maryx

Morning and what a wonderful one!

Now this weather really makes me feel great and up for this diet. Managed finally to do 5 solid days in a trot....YIPPEE!!! I really do mean it this time.

Finally found some lolly mould sin Sainsbury's last night to which I added a chocolate tetra topped up with some water. So I have four lollies waiting to be munched in the fridge! Mmmmmm just nibbling on one now its totally YUM [Smiler]

Should have had a weigh in today but am now going on Tuesday as I've got enough packs to last me and Tuesday is my normal day. Hoping for a loss of at least 3lbs and I'll be happy.

Marching for St.George's Day tomorrow with my Cub pack so I must remember not to have a litre of water before I leave! Not looking forward to putting on my uniform as its so YUK! beige shirt! sexy trousers...NOT! May post the photos so you can all have a laugh!

Day of housework and gardening awaits. Have a good one all.

P. S Diva sorry to here your news. xx

Hi guys

I had to go back and read over what Sarah said about her weight loss, it was so helpful, I couldn't get here yesterday and was feeling so frustrated.

I went for WI on Thursday evening, got there a little late as I was on here! the scales told me I'd gone up by .5kg about a 1lb i think. Why was what I wanted to know I thought I had the perfect week - up'd my water to 6 litres a day went for a 3 mile walk on good friday resisted all food, even over Easter, and went to a exercise class on Wednesday.
Talked to my LLC, she told me it sometimes happens could be water retention, but is not that time of the month. I need to keep going until next week and not to let it niggle away..I've come too far to let my body's fickle ways beat me now.

Any how I found this quote in book i was reading and it helped me think about how I see my self so I thought I'd share it with you.

"Perception....is a learned phenomenon. The world you live in, including your body, is completely dictated by how you learned to perceive it. If you change your perception, you change the experience of your body and your world." (it comes from Ageless Body, Timeless mind by Deepak Chopra)

why continue to believe I can't when there is nothing stopping me but me. Do we continue to see ourselves as fat even when we're not any more because that's the way we've learnt to percieve ourselves [?]

better go OH wants the computer, be back later fingers crossed, I feel negotiations about computer time coming on[Razzer]

Bye

Mary

For those that have no idea what I'm talking about! I'm a Cub Leader, just completed loads of training and now got my warrant (well will have once I say my promise)! Tomorrow Beavers, Cubs & Scouts all over the UK willbe marching for St Georges Day quite a big thing...RAF band etc. There will be over 500 of the darlings hence why not keen on doing my promise.Anyway I'm a Wemiitt now so I'm gonna stand up there and make you all Proud!!

Thanks Ann,

Wearing a size 20 top at the moment. Which is weird after wearing 26/28 for years. So I'd prob go for XXL? XL? like baggy.

Hi, summerskye had XL, and says she is 18/20 and it fits her nicely. The XXL is not much bigger than the XL, so I would have that if I were you. Ann x
