Started today and oh my god the banana shake was vile, really struggled to get it down. I hope the others aren't as bad cos im not looking forward to "mealtimes".

I actually quite like the bannana ha ha ha.

My faves are hot vanilla with a teaspoon of coffee in, these go down well at breakfast time.

I also love the oriental chilli and potatoe and leak soups.

I find the soups more filling in the first few days but once in ketosis prefer shakes.

You will get used to them.

Thanks for replying, i'm having a soup for tea so hopefully I like those better, if so i'll be on the phone wanting some swaps made lol. I just think it may be the consistency of the shakes but i'm determined to stick to it x

yeah, first few days are tough but you will be fine once you are in ketosis. I am on day four now and feel quite good actually. Just cold, and the water is not helping.

Welcome to the forum, hope you are getting on better with the flavours now. You could try the mixamousse to make the shakes into a pudding like angel delight, much easier to get down that way.

How are you doing? Have you spoken to your counsellor?

Have you tried the tetra packs, they are a different consistency.

Let me know how you are getting on.

Hiya not doing too bad at all thanks, had strawberry shake earlier with crushed ice which went down fine, gonna have veg soup for tea, then a vanilla shake later tonight. I still dont feel hungry, which i find really weird.

Feeling good today, actually looking forward to my soup at dinner time lol. I could eat today, id do anything for a sandwich but im persevering and so determined with each day that goes by.

Hi Misskellsy, I know what you mean, I've just cooked the tea for everyone Frowner, so tempting! Did I pick? No, I was good Big Grin, but it is hard - I am now on day 5, can't wait to get weighed in on Tuesday. Have a good day.








1st goal - stick at CD for 1 week - DONE!
2nd goal - weight less than 11 st
3rd goal - reach BMI of 25

1st week - lost 6 1/4lb
2nd week - lost 1 1/2lb
3rd week - lost 2 1/4lb

Well all, i'm now on day 5 and have stuck 100%, can't believe it myself. I don't know what's happening but I haven't had that euphoric feeling everyone has talked about, I just feel so tired. I don't know how to space my meals out to stop me feeling so hungry. Hope my weigh in proves its all worth it xxx

Cos I am off this week I have one shake at 10:30am, one at 3:30pm and the final one about 9ish - normally a hot choc, lovely! Feels like I am treating myself. But next week I will be having a shake at 6:30am, one at lunch, dont know what time, depends what time we finish the operating list and I will try to have my last one late on if I can. I know I will really struggle when I go back to my placement as I wont be able to drink the water the same - cant get scrubbed in for an operation then decide I need the loo, dont think the surgeon will be very happy Red Face.

You can always split your shakes up into 6 packs to stretch them out! Try different times and see what works for you. Big Grin

Well done you for sticking to it. I knew you would get used to the shakes and soups eventually. You wait till you try the bars - yummy.

I am on restart didnt do it for very long last time but im really determined this time so fingers crossed!!
