I would like to join the live chat room, but I have Yahoo messenger, not MSN and I don't rally want to post my email on an open group - have done that before and received tons of spam. Is there any other way? Perhaps I can set up MSN messenger myself.

Yes, quite right.. didn't think of that spam business...
Anyway, go to www.msn.co.uk and download the messenger. it is similar to Yahoo but easier to follow and you can add people with all sort of different email addresses. Not sure if you can do that with Yahoo.
