Yay back in the zone there mate, ignore the rumbly tum, you know it wont last for long and when in ketosis so much easier to handle. I was well hungry last night, but didnt give in and just went to bed, nothing wrong with a few early nights to get us through the first few days.

Totally agree with you Karen Wink

Well Ive managed to get through the morning and I didn't end up having my first pack early, so I will be having it in about 1/2hr.

I didn't bother weighing yesterday morning when I started again but when I weighed this morning it looks like if I had of weighed I would have been back to what I was last Monday when I restared. I really need to get a good load off before Saturday as I am going out for a meal with my Mum and Im now a bit worried that next Monday Im gonna be the same as the previous 2 mondays again. Oh this weight is beginning to bug me now.

Hi Karen, don't worry about Saturday just now, concentrate on geting through each day. I think that is the only way I'm going to get myself through a week of this, take each hour at a time, especially as I feel like death on toast this afternoon!

Vikki - are you feeling like death because your coming down with something or because of the diet?

I know what you mean about taking each day as it comes but you just cant help thinking about something when you know its gonna happen. Im trying to stay really positive and do the diet when I can and if i have something like a meal planned or patry then come off the diet but its hard as I dont want to fall flat on my face again. Anyway thats just me blabbing on... ignore me.

Hi Bikerbabe, dont get stressed, if you have a planned party plan a strategy for a week before and after this way good loss before and after wont be affected drastically by what you have to eat, good plan, being determined during the weeks you off food should work
good luck

Morning all,

Well its a week ago since I saw my CDC and 9 days since I started CD again. Of course I had 4 days off the diet in between starting last Monday & now because of being unwell but started again this Monday. My weigh in today on my scales (as only seeing CDC every other week) was what I had hoped for. I had stayed the same but that is still 9lb down in the 9 days. I hope that makes sense as it seems quite complicated. Weighing 16.6 today anyway.

Maja - my plan is to stick to CD til Saturday evening then have a meal with my mum then straight back on CD on Sunday morning again.... I hope Wink Gonna try and hit the 16st by next Wed so i must be good.

I think we are going to Frankie & Bennys on Saturday night so i have printed a menu off the internet and will be looking over the next few days for something on it that might not be as bad as if i just went and picked what i faniced.

Be good everyone.

Take Care,
Karen x

Hi,

Well I nearly fell off the wagon today, we've had a death in the family, not totally unexpected but quicker than we all thought. Cancer is such an evil thing and especialy when your only in your 50's. Frowner

I was just going to do the weekly shopping when I got the call so you can imagine all the crap I put in the trolly. But ive resisted and had my bar and a black coffee when I got home. Ive lost another 3lb since I posted here on Wednesday so its looking good that I might reach 16st by next wed. Just 4 to go. Hope I can stick with my choice of Chicken Salad when I go to Frankie & Bennys on Saturday.

Hope everyone is being good and I am just off to check the threads.

Take Care,
Karen x

Sorry to hear about your loss Karen, my thoughts are with you and your family. Well done on resisting temptation mate, emotions can be a terrible thing when you are trying to loose weight. Definately sounds like your gonna hit that mini target by wednesday and i wish you lots of luck with that. Take it easy.

Hi,

Sorry Im not feeling very sociable at the moment but I am thinking of you all even if im not on here posting.

I had my weigh in on Wed last week and I was 1 lb short of what I wanted to get to but it was ok as I had managed to lose exactly 1 stone in the fortnight.

Anyway hopefully I will be back on here regularly again soon.

Take Care all,

Karen x
